In other hand Dr Williams takes the time to call his patients and explains everything in detail. I totally recommend him and his staff his very kind as well. He has Robin the ultrasound tech who is amazing as well and Misty in the front desk who has a wonderful smile every time I walk in to great me. I have been blessed to have such a great Doctor that cares for his patients with great staff as well. I do see the review from Lily but I have worked in the medical field for over 25 years and the best Doctors are the ones you have to wait a long time because they take the time explain everything and answer all questions and not rush people like they are just a number. You have to have patience and willing to wait knowing you are getting the same long visit as others. Don't listen to the bad reviews because they are just not understanding. I know Dr Perry personally and just because he left, that doesn't mean you are not going to be treated as a person and not a number. I totally recommend Dr Williams Rene and his staff.

I was scheduled for a colonoscopy (happy 50th birthday) at the Redding Endo Center for Friday morning. I started drinking that wonderful (sarcasm) kick-a-poo joy juice Thursday night, needless to say, it does not work well or fast enough in my system therefore going through the whole c-scope process resulted in... "Unable to complete due to poor prep". Uuggghhh. Proceed to the doctors office for other options. Different prep , new appt. 2nd c-scope screening in 1 week, prep completed (wowza) arrive at the butt crack of dawn, sign in and was confronted with insurance information that did not make me happy at all! They didn't want to pay :( The billing staff at the endo center worked their butts off to make it work, and the nursing staff went above and beyond to make me a comfortable as possible even though I had delayed the procedure by 2 hours going back and forth with insurance . Dr. Dhanuka even came in to speak to me himself and told me not to worry , every thing would work out ok. These people were fantastic! Now that I know what prep to use, I am not worried about booking my next one... (10 years from now!) because every single person I came into contact with there was AWESOME! and the procedure ... a breeze!

Why would I need the birth control when I'm having a hysterectomy? But who's to say, Im not the Dr. The hysterectomy was because of some medical issues by the way but everyone i talked to says getting a hysterectomy was a great choice and most of them wishing they would have done it sooner. My thoughts were; hey I got my boobs done so this should be easy! Boy was i wrong, I woke up from the anesthesia in cruciating pain, they gave me so many different things and nothing would work. I'm the kind of person who doesn't like much attention so I will keep quiet until I can't. Finally they have me something that knocked me out. I went home after a couple hrs and besides having to use a straight cath for wks I felt like I was recovering pretty well. I went back to wk a week later which was probably a little too soon but my job didn't consist of much moving around so I thought I was in the clear. 9 days later I get home from work and hop in the shower I look down to notice my left leg was turning purple, then I noticed it swealing and getting really cold. I ended up going to the ER and they found a PE (pulmonary embolism) a clot in my lung. Made me realize why I was having shortness of breath that evening at work. Long story trying to be short..... Its 3 yrs later and I now have a Stent in my leg and not only that it has had to be cleaned out 3 times so far, the last time being yesterday. I was 39 when this all started, too young to have multiple clots like this. Funny this is, maybe 2 to 3 months later Mooney up and moved to another state. I have close ppl in the medical field and they didn't even know where he moved to. Plus when I mention his name to other Dr's they roll their eyes and say (figures). I just want to reach out to see if something like this happened to anyone else.

I went back to him for the rectal and anal pain. Then he did a very painful test with different scopes opening up very harshly while he yelled so loud every one in the clinic could hear him. Sean and Lindsay were very kind and capable, doing all they could to ease my fears and minimize my discomfort. They did their jobs and it was over in no time! You know what? I worried for mostly nothing. Here it is a few hours later and I am at home, using up gauze like crazy...but happy. It was a good decision. I hope I never have to go through it again! But if I do-- I would come back here again, trust them again, and NOT WASTE A NIGHT'S SLEEP BEFOREHAND. I am self-professed that I am the biggest (and oldest!) BABY IN THE WORLD! I understand that a private practice has to make decisions about insurance contracts and which pregnancies it is equipped to manage, but their long list of exclusions raises legitimate concerns about who actually has access to the practice. Women's healthcare options in the Redding area are already limited. I hope Amber eventually adopts policies that allow them to serve a broader cross-section of women in our community.
