Another visit. I…read morehad an amazing time at the Christmas market at Bradford Greenhouses! Vendors were welcoming, showcasing their beautiful work. They have got a great selection of local artisans and vendors, so you are supporting the community while finding unique gifts. The market had a variety of vendors selling all sorts of goodies - bakery goods, herbal tea, homemade soap, candles... it was a treasure! You could smell the delicious treats wafting through the air and see the beautiful handmade crafts on display. On the other side of the greenhouse, they had lovely live trees on sale, perfect for picking out the perfect Christmas tree. And on another side, they had all sorts of gorgeous Christmas decorations to get you in the holiday spirit. The best part? Admission is FREE! It is an amazing activity for anyone, and you can shop 'til you drop but it is slightly pricey $$ fortunately there are some sales for Christmas decor. The greenhouse transforms into a winter wonderland, complete with cozy vibes and festive décor (check out my pics and videos). It is perfect for getting into the holiday spirit with family and friends. My parner and I went because we were looking for a fun, festive, and free holiday activity, you should totally check it out. The market runs every Saturday and Sunday until December 7, so do not miss the last weekend.

The packaging was beautiful and added that extra high-end touch. If you're looking to wow someone on Valentine's Day (or any special occasion), I highly recommend Luxury Bouquet by Margarita. There is a full beekeeping experience where you will don a keepers suit and work directly with the hives. We opted for a less intense experience where we would learn how to bottle our own honey and visit the Kunekune pigs they own. We booked online the previous night before we headed up. We got there and it's a little nondescript. When you first drive in, you'll see a family home. A bit farther down the hill on the left is the store and the commercial area of the property. We were greeted by the employee. We let her know that we had booked an experience. We were booked back to back with another experience so she let us know that we could browse the store while we waited. We booked a little bit later at night so it turns out Peter, who would be leading the tour, wasn't aware that we were going to be there yet. It didn't matter though, he didn't miss a beat once they turned up. He and a guest had just completed the bee keeping experience and they were both sweating like no tomorrow. Dress appropriately for the beekeeper's experience, it gets hot in those suits! The first stop in the lesson was seeing what happens to the frames once they arrive back at the honey farm. We were taken to the hot honey room. This is where all the frames are stored before processing. It was indeed hot in there but it smelled amazing! There were also some stray bees in there but we were assured they weren't in the mood to sting. We got to look at two different ways of harvesting the honey. There was the commercial harvested which was an industrial looking machine. The second was device that was more manual and used centrifugal forces to spin the honey off of the frames. We got to try our hand at this one! After this we had to leave the honey to filter out any remaining wax or bits in there. We got to sample select batches of the flavoured honey beer that they were brewing. It wasn't for sale yet but it was really good. We also went to visit the pigs and chickens on the farm. The pigs are really friendly! We were lucky enough to be there when one of the Kunekune mamas had piglets! The 3 piglets were super friendly and mom didn't mind us petting them at all. These piglets had really pretty colouring on them. They really enjoyed petting and scratching against our feet. They were also teething so much like a puppy would, so they would nibble on our shoes and shoelaces. Super cute and no damage. After that we went back to bottle our fresh honey. We did get to taste the honey throughout the process. If you're a fan of honey and bees this is the best way to do it! Peter and his wife Sarah were great through the whole process. They answered all of our questions and were genuinely excited to share their knowledge with us. Definitely recommend a little trip out of Toronto for this experience!

We did the yelp experience and got to handle the honey combs which we literally combed for extraction via centrifuge. Meanwhile the family-operated owners shared about the bees and the honey business. They are bee stewards and truly support the honey bee populations around the city. They mentioned having hives in Toronto! I picked up the dessert mead and mead salted caramels. Oh lala these handmade caramels are delicious. The dessert mead is quite sweet like an ice wine or plum wine. It will make a nice aperitif. The fresh honey is very nice. Lightly fragrant and perfect for drizzling. It's a beautiful place and the products are made with love and care.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! SECOND-RATE WOULD BE A FEW STEPS UP FOR THEM…read more Just the facts about what we experienced during a WEDDING this weekend; 1. Showed up late. Blamed transportation issues 15 minutes after they were supposed to arrive. Finally arrived 1.5 hours later. 2. Staff took a smoke break (even though they were there for less than 2 hours). Did not wash their hands before handling food products. Cooks did not wear hats or hair nets while cooking. Staff drank alcohol while working. YES, I HAVE VIDEO AND PICTURE EVIDENCE. 3. None of the food is actually made by Triple G. It is from M&M meat shops, prepared at their facility and brought to the venue luke warm. They had no shame in pouring their dips straight from the container they BOUGHT from the grocery store, into small containers as were the crackers which were left in their original plastic sleeves. Meat appetizers were not kept in a chafing tray and were below safe temperatures for eating or storing. They were kept in metal foil pans. Did I mention this was for a wedding? AGAIN, I HAVE VIDEO AND PICTURE EVIDENCE. 4. The food is as substandard as their food safety practices. Mediocre would be an aspiration for this company. 5. The "crowing jewel" is the owner, Corrine. I, as well as many others at the wedding, could not have met another person who is in desperate need of a mental health evaluation. I have never met someone who is as mean spirited and just plain nasty as she was. EXTREMELY RUDE to guests. Narcissistic and absolutely the worst personality I have met in any service industry. From what I was told, she was a complete nightmare to deal with. Did I mention this is someone who was welcomed by a very loving family and very kind people who paid for the above service? I cannot tell anyone what to do with their money. But you were warned if you want to use this company for its "service".
