You start by going through a corn trail. I followed the trails through the sunflower fields and it was a nice but hot 3km walk. Lots of fun photo opps near the beginning. We found Davis farm could have the wagon ride and also have the farmer market. So we drove an hour to the farm. The pumpkin patch was just a small place that gathered selling pumpkins. The pumpkin field was not open to public. The market was selling local bakery and stuff. The wagon ride was about 15 mins long, and it was all the way to the sunflower field. We thought the sunflower was all dead and spooky, but actually they were dried naturally and after that the farm will collect the sunflower seeds and the flower head could be used for the sunflower oil. That's so informative. The farm was big but only open to the public a little spots. But they did decorate some good spots for people to take pictures. It's nice to visit a farm in Fall season.

It's like the modern general store. In terms of gifts, and home decor, anything you can find you can find here. What I love about it is that there's so much variety of little things, that you walk in with wonderment, and walk out wishing you bought something (or bought too much). They have children's books, jams and syrups, home decor little knick knacks, things for your kitchen, living area or bedroom, all these Thyme fragrances that I've never seen before (or i'm just not updated). The back room is "Heidi's Room" just another part of the store, but sells more bigger pieces to put in your 'room' per say. The side room is like a small antique shop, but items are brand new. Things here aren't cheap, but you can fall in love with something and be willing to spend the money. It's a cute little small town shop, offering a variety of food items as well as general store items. Service was fast and super friendly. The pastry display really stood out, with many mouthwatering things to choose from. I got a buttertart shortbread bar and a pecan buttertart. I've had many other award-winning buttertarts before, so the buttertart was on the good side but not the best I've had... but the shortbread bar! It was truly delightful. Ooey gooey, just the right amount of sweetness, and the nicely caramelized top as well as the buttery rich crust. Such a treat! I would love to swing by again when I am in the area to pick up a whole box of the bars. Free street parking spots right outside the door. Prices were reasonable too.

Eggs Benedict also delish with peameal. Known for their woodstove pizza and award-winning butter tarts, the all day at Rosemont is new and delectably great.

The building itself is large and houses a number of businesses, including this jewellery boutique. The shop is owned and operated by the jewellery designer. It's pretty sizeable and carries a great selection of silver and gold jewellery of all grades. The pieces feature all kinds of precious and semi precious stones. There are a number of catalogues for inspiration, and she can custom make just about anything you can imagine. While we were there, she gave us a proper quote for some potential wedding bands. She priced them at several types of gold (rose, yellow, white, 18K and 14K of each.) She let us know what an approximate time would be for turnaround if we decided to place the order. She was extremely professional and friendly. While we ended up purchasing a name brand set of bands elsewhere, the experience was a valuable one and made our overall band shopping experience complete. I also decided to order a custom made silver pendant for my daughter. I chose the item from a catalogue and it was adapted to specification (i.e. for a bracelet or necklace as opposed to a pin/brooch.) I left my deposit and was given an approximate turnaround time (pending delivery.) When the item was ready, I received an e-mail and a call to let me know. I appreciated that I was able to communicate with them via e-mail. When I came in to pick up the item, it was nicely wrapped and packaged in a paper gift bag. I again appreciated that I didn't need to wrap it up myself. If I'm ever nearby again, I will definitely pop in to see what new designs they've come up with. It's a pleasure to browse and shop. Definitely recommend.
