I had an owner take over her grooming. The 1st one was okay just a few things she didn't do that I showed her pictures on how I'd like it to be. Not completely a sanitary cut but do her butt not her tail. She trimmed it. It was long her hair was long. I had to keep washing her for a month till she seen her again. Then the last groom I showed pictures of Sasha with rounded face and her star was not to be cut. This I believe was not difficult to accomplish. I picked her up and immediately noticed she shaved or came close to that on her head. I told her you cut half of her star on the top of her head off. Then I noticed she didn't shave her butt I asked her to do it, so she took Saha and put her on the table grabbed her tail , Sasha let out a loud high pitched cry, she asked her sister to help her hold her. That was like a stab in the gut. Her cry.. She handed her back and I knew I would not be back. I have a few pics.. of her what she looked like the last pic is what Darla did last day.

I took my dog here until May 29th of 2025. On April 3rd of 2025 he saw Dr Costello who was to treat…read morehim for an accidental bite he received on his nose when he and his playmate both grabbed for a ball at the same time. There was no cleaning out of the infection, no culture to determine if the antibiotic would even work and no X-ray. After 2 weeks it still looked horrible so we returned and were told he had a hairline fracture in his nose so he was put into a cone for 6 weeks, given another antibiotic (again NO culture) and told to return in 6 weeks. So, we followed the instructions, finished all of the antibiotic and at the end of 6 weeks it still was not healed. At that point I was told by a second Bet here that "Oh that won't ever heal because there's a lot of bacteria in the nose! SO, we found another Dr (Countryside Veterinary Clinic) and he required surgery because Town and Country never cleaned the debris out of the base of the wound. It took a year, 2 surgeries, a 6 week routine of a liquid oral antibiotic, to finally get the problem resolved because of Dr Costello's poor treatment of an infected would. At one point I was told he might not recover. He was 1 1/2 at the time of the injury. DO NOT GO TO TOWN AND COUNTRY. If I could give a 0 I would.

Wasn't very heart felt. I brought new puppy in, got same bland receptionist. Was rude about my honest mistake of mixed up appointment. We have taken our dog here a few times as it is right down the street from our house…read more The staff here is fantastic to deal with and they are great with our dog Mobey. This place has always been very clean and seemingly sanitary. We usually get him clipped every 6-8 weeks. I must say that the last time he was there, they did an OK job but the top of his head was sort of shaped like a cone because of the way they timmed him. It wasn't a moment were we said "Oh my gosh" but he did look kinda funny. Kind of a bad hairday for us upright walkers in comparison. He is actually due for another hair cut soon but we will probably take him to a different place we have in the past. Simply, the other place (review soon to come) does a bit of a better job. All in all, this is a good place to go for your man's best friend grooming needs. I'm sure we will visit again in the future as they do an overall good job and it is very convienent for us due to the proximity to our house. Probably a 3.5 star place but the friendliness bumps it up to four.
