They cut and lift away the top half and then the main section of the tree, guiding it expertly over telephone & electric wires straight into a wood chipper. A few cuts to remove any extra long branches and they're done. The bottom part of the tree is cut, lifted and gently put down on solid ground, they take those pieces away in their truck. To access the backyard they put down truck mats to protect the grass. It's *all* cleaned up and hauled away in about an hour per tree. Impressive to watch!
