I have been here many times for MRIs for me and members of my family. The staff have always been…read morecourteous and professional. My last visit was difficult for me. At the first appointment I had a glucose monitor attached to my arm and the test could not be completed because of that. The technician was unfamiliar with the Free Style Libre I use and checked online and called the company for instructions. That visit had to be rescheduled. During that appointment I became anxious and was not able to eat the MRI even though I've successfully had them there before. Without my husband sitting next to me holding my hand I couldn't proceed with it. The technician was very understanding and asked what might help me get through the MRI. IT was suggested to get some medication to take the edge off my anxiety for my rescheduled appointment. Unfortunately I was even more nervous, turned white, started shaking and crying while profusely sweating. It was obvious that even with the medication, it wasn't meant to be. At no time did the staff make me feel awkward for my 3 failed attempts at getting the MRI. I appreciated the technician's soft tone with no sense of judgement at all. I couldn't thank them enough for their compassion and professionalism. I've never had a bad employee interact with me. Give them a try.

They would put me on hold for 20 minutes and then disconnect the line. So I was furious that after 3 tries I still was not able to make an appointment. After all I decided to drive to the office and try my luck in person. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by front desk person. The young girl tried to accommodate me with the same say appointment and offered me to come back 3 hours later for the CT scan test. I returned in few hours, right away was checked in and was called for my test. It was very quick test and when I was about to leave they told me the results would take few days to receive. Next day I received the call from doctor who told me the result was ready . Very quick and professional service.

I had to have a breast biopsy on the right side. My doctor recommended Abington and I made my…read moreappointment as soon as I could. Lucky for me, the radiology group at Abington hospital was able to get me in 1 day later because I was a basket case on the phone. I can not speak more highly about Dr. Woodfield, the radiologist who did my biopsy. She was so kind and caring and totally understood my anxiety and took so much time to describe to me what will happen and talked me though the whole procedure. Dr. Woodfield and her assistant kept asking me how I was doing and if I needed a break. So thoughtful and caring. When you go there, you check in with the reception front desk and fill out a few forms. The typical forms that you would fill out at a doctors office for the first time. Then you wait for them to call your name. Then you go back and change into hospital gown and to the back where the biopsy will be done. I felt so at ease when I first met Dr. Woodfield. And the best part, the biopsy was not cancer. I wasn't given the option to request which doctor that would do the biopsy, but I lucked out.
