Taking my car for its annual service, I feared the worst; this is going to cost me. I explained to Roger at the desk that he must go gentle on me, and let me know about any faults. He reassured me that they will provide an excellent service, and will keep me informed of any faults, if any. An hour into the service, Roger called to advise a small fault on the engine was noticed, and that they will only be able to replace the part the next day. A loan car was organized at no extra cost, and my car was ready the next day after work, cleaned and ready to roll another ten thousand kilometers. Took my car for a warrant, they found stuff wrong with it and quoted me almost $400 to fix it. I phoned around trying to get a better quote, and one shop said that I should bring it in so that they can have a look. Turns out what the failed the car for is not really a problem so I paid the new shop the warrant fees and I got it right there and then. I think these guys are trying to make money by trying to fail the vehicles on anything that looks like it can fail and then quoting massive amounts to get it fixed. Not recommended at all. read more

Ive been here twice now and have walked away happy both times. I think it must be the cheapest warrant of fitness around and repair prices were reasonable with different options. Wof was quick and easy and car is running smoothly after a service. Bring your car here for good honest no-nonsense service. read more

After having other garages leave me in the lurch Northcote Auto went out of their way to organise the parts needed for my car to pass its warrant. Great service for a very reasonable price. I'll definitely use these guys again. read more
