New England Book Auctions is an exceptional auction house and a New England institution (31 years…read morein business) that deserves special notice for their good work. I have been a customer for over 12 years and always been impressed with the honesty, integrity, knowledge, and kindness of the auction and their staff. They normally have 24 or more book auctions a year. Roughly 12 catalogue sales with particularly exceptional or beautiful books. They also hold 12 or more list sales with larger lots of books and paper, normally sold without reserve. They also have shelf sales at 3 PM during their list sale dates where you can bid on 15-20 book shelves filled with books. Their regular book auctions start at 6:30 PM. They catalog and sell thousands of books, many are 100s of years old. NEBA is particularly strong in New England Americana and many old estates find their way there. Most of the customers are book dealers. Great deals are to be had, as the prices are much better than what you would find in New York or Boston. In additional to book auctions, they recently they began running an antique and art auction. They are located near Yankee Candle at: 220 Greenfield Rd. South Deerfield, MA., 01375 Telephone: (413) 665-3253
