And wander I did in Churchill's, through shelf after shelf of fiction, non fiction, vintage titles. I eventually left with a paperback I'd never heard of, a first edition of one of my old favorites, and a cool 1980 comic book that just struck my fancy. But more than the things I bought, what I really found in the meandering shelves of this little bookshop was the sense that there could be some treasure waiting for me around the next corner. In this little space filled with books of all kinds, Churchill's captures the feeling of discovery that all good bookstores have and online bookstores just can't replicate. My kids weren't with me this time, but I could hear them as I wrapped up my visit to Churchill's bookshop. "Come ON Dad, let's goooo already." I had to smile. I felt the pricing was pretty fair and they had a lot of name brand quality clothes to choose from in many different sizes. The clothing was all in good condition with no rips or stains. They have the clothes organized in a way that makes it easy to see everything easily. The racks are spaced appropriately and there is enough space to be able to move the items on the rack easily to see the item clearly. There was easy parking and the hours of business are great too. I will be back next time I am in the area.
