I will have my daughter come here as well when it is time for her test. The only negative I would say here is that the appointments on line are not really needed or used. I would recommend calling a couple of days before your test and just verify if they are available. He will let you know if that day works and then you just show up between business hours. The only problem with this is you may have to wait 30 minutes or so (as we did) because we had to wait for a driving class the was just ending. Otherwise great school and will be back!

Over Thanksgiving week, I texted the owner to make appointments for 7 driving lessons that I paid for my daughter. I was told to go to their office between 1pm-3pm on Tuesday. I was not able to make it and asked if I could go on Wednesday. No response at all, so I texted him over a week later. I texted the owner to let him know I need to be able to be able to schedule over the phone or else I need a refund because it is inconvenient and unreasonable to have to drive over just to schedule appointments. I thought our interactions via in person or on the phone were good and pleasant until I received a response that shows what an unhinged, twisted liar he is. He claimed that I made rules that he can't follow and that I made threats. Which was completely ridiculous and untrue outright lies to justify his ugly response. He blocked me immediately after his text so that he would not get my response. Check our texts in the picture and decide whether this is someone you want to do business with.

From Sept 2024: I scheduled my son to take his Texas road…read moretest with Ideal Driving School after he had completed a parent taught driving school online version. I needed a local business that was open on Sunday's, and preferably one with competitive pricing ~ or better than! I found Ideal Driving School's parent and student reviews to be very positive and comforting. I gave them and call about 4 o'clock one day, they answered unlike another local school I called where I had to leave a message and then a call center contacted me back, and I had my son signed up for his road test on the date and time I needed) in less than 10 minutes! This was approx. one month before his sixteenth birthday. We were able to stop by the driving school the same day I booked the test to take a photo of the actual mapped out road test he would be taking ~ no problem! Very handy for driving practice. Today he took his road test! We arrived 10 minutes early and checked in with the friendly staff. We were able to pay using Zelle so that we didn't have to pay for additional fees for using a credit card. Next we met with the driving instructor before the road test, and were given an easy to read document to review that advised of exactly what would cause someone to lose points on the test or cause an immediate fail. Love the transparency! Practice makes perfect! The instructor was very friendly and my son shared that the road test experience was painless! Thank you Ideal Driving School! I recommend this school for anyone needing the Texas road test!

Thankfully, we found PDS, and Paul was absolutely fantastic to work with. He was helpful, friendly, and great with the students. I had all my documents, paid the $33 for my renewal, was shoveled an vision test form, to be filled out by my optometrist, but wasn't told what to do with it afterwards, had an attitude when I asked. Now getting back to the customer service #. It keeps asking for your phone #, never allows you to get past it. When you do, the wait time is ridiculous, and when you try to leave a recall #, it goes back to asking for your phone #, over and over again, will no let you get past it. It's that it some chat person, which is not capable of answering your questions. Do better please. No one has the time to deal with this, just to do the right thing and renew their license on time. Better attitudes, more human customer service reps, and better service is what you really, and truly need.
