I shop at the nearby Albertsons and recently received a mailer for Highbrook Way Dental, so I decided to pop in before grocery shopping. I was greeted with smiles all around by the three gals at the front office. Everyone was kind and pleasant, and the reception area was bright, clean, and welcoming. I liked it enough to book my first appointment for the following week. I provided my insurance information and asked them to email me my insurance breakdown. At my appointment, I was seen promptly. My hygienist was amazing, thorough, and made me feel very comfortable. She took my X-rays, measured my pockets -- all good there! -- and gave me a great cleaning. Afterward, I met the dentist, who also had a wonderful chairside manner. He reviewed my chart and said everything looked great. My only note is that I had mentioned I prefer cleanings every 3-4 months and am willing to pay out of pocket if insurance doesn't cover it, but upon checkout I was scheduled for six months out. Maybe I wasn't clear, so I'll follow up. Either way, I really loved my visit and look forward to my next one. Also, the back office was just as immaculate as the front -- not a dust bunny in sight! I've had one visit and the people were very friendly. The front desk and getting checked in was a very good experience and she was quite lovely. I felt I got good care although I felt I did need to advocate for myself on a few minor things. I didn't want them polishing my teeth before the hygienist had completed her scaling. It is not a good practice to polish teeth before all the plaque has been removed. They have quite a few staff members that do different things. They have two hygienist and then they have assistance that do the polishing. You can request having one person do the scaling and the polishing, but they can only accommodate that on certain days due to the lack of staffing?? So for my next visit, I will have one person do it all. They were quite accommodating. I think I'm scheduled with a different dentist for my next visit. I think I will see her and see how I like her. She is newer in her career, but I feel I might like to give her a shot. The jury is still out for me. I'll update in 6 months.

The office is beautiful, parking is plentiful, the location couldn't be better for me, and every employee seems to genuinely care about people. I had a cavity fixed in less than 20 minutes and didn't feel a thing. I also had to get fitted for a night guard (my dog ate the last one). I have been dreading the trays, but decided on bubblegum flavor before arriving. I even wore an old sweatshirt because I know how messy the trays are. They didn't use trays! They had a small scanner and it was done it two minutes. No goop on my sweatshirt, no leaving the trays in too long and yanking on my gums, and no silly questions while I couldn't answer. And they might guards should be back in a few days rather than a few weeks. I could not recommend this office more. They my accepted Delta Dental without issues. And... They explained that I had bacteria in my mouth, which I understand is normal, and then proceeded to recommend over $600 in additional products and treatments to address it. These included ozone water, laser treatment, a Waterpik, and specialty mouthwashes. I have never had a cavity or any dental issues in my life, so this was unexpected as I was just there for a routine cleaning. When I asked the hygienist to proceed with only the cleaning covered by my insurance, there was some hesitation and continued suggestions to purchase additional products, including a specific toothpaste. Overall, I didn't feel that the patient's best interest was the priority, and the experience felt more focused on upselling than straightforward care. If you're looking for a simple, no-pressure dental office, this may not be the best fit.

Little tactics that are poor Business practice to increase profit. Cancellation policy is a fee of 50.00 dollars if less then 48 hours but that courtesy call comes 24 hours in advance so there is no ability to reschedule. I'd say common practice is to give sufficient time to patients to reschedule if necessary because we do schedule 6 months in advance. There's a lot of little nickeling and diming. I don't see this place being around long and there are plenty of reviews to support this.
