I placed a service request in Yelp for a large tree branch that fell onto a sensitive area in between mine and my neighbors yard. This was the first business to answer, and they had a representative give me a quote for the work the same day (weekend). I had very specific instructions on how the fallen branch removal needed to happen and they followed my instructions exactly. I was charged exactly what I was quoted, which was a very reasonable price given 1) other quotes that I received from other services and 2) the delicate work involved. It seems they have a consistent stream of work, so they had to work my smaller job into their schedule but it worked out well and I am very pleased. read more

They were on time, very safe and careful, hard working! The trees they pruned (heavily) look lovely! No mess left behind! Raymond is very knowledgeable about trees! Thank you North Roots Tree Care! read more

I put out a project blast to multiple tree companies on Yelp! as well as a few on Marketplace and Google listing. All were professional and a few sent estimators out to look at the tree. North Roots stood out because the estimator came out same day, bid was sent out same day and they could start the job immediately. They sent a competitive quote and without being asked included a pdf of their insurance & license. German & his team arrived on time and finished the job same day. They left the yard raked up and sidewalks blown off. No extra cost surprises and no damages. They left me with no option but to give this business a perfect review. They gave ideal service through the whole process. read more

OMG! Seriously the best tree service EVER! We had a huge ash tree that had to be taken down and trunk ground out. These guys were on it from 8am onto the dark hours of a chilly Sunday. A few breaks here and there but hustling to get it done. 100 feet high and probably 20 feet circumference on the trunk. A monster. Sad to see it go but the tree was dying. We had more than one company come to give us an estimate but North Roots beat everyone hands down. We will definitely use them again. read more

UPDATED AGAIN. For about 2 months, I've been trying to find out what the plans are by North Roots for training their tree people. I've emailed and never received a response. The only response, briefly, that was received was by their lawyer. After the damage that they caused, they agreed to have their employees trained to meet ASI standards. I began following up and requesting their plans. This has been typical of my interaction with them after the damage that they did to my trees. And my arborist tells me that we're going to have to completely remove one large limb that North Roots' personnel who were improperly trained in tree care and do no harm caused. read more

They know exactly what to cut or trim to keep the tree balanced and symmetrical as much as possible if hanging over multiple backyards. They also trimmed additional trees for a minimal price keeping in mind that that held over three workers. This was a huge 60' oak. The value comes from this winter storms not being able to drop large 100 lb+++branches onto the house. And less clean up from autumn leaves etc. read more

I had a 50' California fan palm in my yard. They came, gave me a great bid, were professional and nice. I hired them and they got me on their schedule. They arrived on time and did a great job removing the tree and hauling off all the debris. I would Definately call them again. read more

I was totally impressed with the three man work crew ! They took all the safety precautions while cutting down & removing our tree in the front yard ! Nothing got damaged on my property nor my neighbors ! The tree man crew did an outstanding, professional job ! They were right on time at 9:00 a.m. sharp ! They are hard working non stop working till the job was done kind of guys ! They cleaned up the yard, the street & sidewalk ! The area was left the same way they found it ! Give those guys a raise !!! I would have given them each a cash tip, but unfortunately I had to borrow the money to have the tree cut down. I of course will be recommending your company to everyone who needs Tree service, as well as on "YELP" Thank you so much, Mark Beaver 1040 Taber Street West Sacramento, CA. 95605 read more

If you need anything done concerning trees, these are the guys to call! My neighbor has a tree that was planted against the backyard fence, a fruitless Mulberry tree. I had knee surgery, so my trimming skills were put on hold for a year. The tree was a mess! The guys came out right on time and had it done in a day. They were efficient and polite, and I was particularly impressed by how they cleaned and swept every little leaf that was dropped, dragging tree limbs to the front. Give them a call, you won't regret it! read more

I highly recommend North Roots Tree Care. Easy scheduling, reasonable priced, very nice people. They cut down two very tall pine trees, and cleaned up perfectly. They took great care of everything. The best tree company I have ever worked with! read more

I had seven big trees that needed help to prevent roof damage and interference with power lines, as well as just normal shaping and removal of dead limbs. Two crews showed up, super professional, extra safe, efficient, competent, paid attention to what I wanted and what I did not, respectful of property, excellent clean-up, and FAST. I would hire them again in a heart beat!! Not cheap, but not expensive considering all they did. I have paid more for much less in the past from another local vendor. read more

The crew was so fast and did a great job. Really appreciated the ample communication and ease of scheduling service. Thanks so much!

Super happy with the job their crew did for us. Took down 8 trees in the middle of a garden with no damage to established plants, very meticulous and carful. They did exactly what we agreed upon in a timely manner. Easy communication. Not sure if it was the best price but for the job they did I feel it was a fair price. Would definitely use them again and recommend North Roots Tree Care. read more

Had North Roots cut down a huge nearly 50 year old Raywood Ash tree in a tight area of my backyard with fencing, pool, and landscaping below. Not only did they do a perfect job during 3 greuling hot days, but the crew also did a great job at cleaning debris up when finished. I didn't have to speak a word to the guys once they got started after our initial meet up. I will definitely have North Roots back in the future. read more

I recently used North Roots Tree Care to trim three large trees, as well as two Japanese Maple's. They did an excellent job. They arrived when they said they would, worked efficiently, and left the area very clean. They were very quick to respond with a bid, which was fair and reasonable, and scheduled the work for the very next week. I was very happy with how it turned out, and would recommend them enthusiastically. read more

They showed up on time and took down our cedar tree, the process went smoothly. The workers cleaned up afterwards.

Raymond was nice and talked a good talk, but seemed like an office guy, not sure he has ever operated a chainsaw. I used them even though they had a high price and then they butchered my tree. Big company, lack of attention to detail. Better off going with someone else, I will next time. read more
