Orange Blossom opened last November (2025) in MD bringing with it many of the same baked goods we previously enjoyed in NC. An apple ugly is a fantastic cinnamon dough mixed with apple pie bits. But do not take my word for it, this approximately 2+ pound pastry does not look as pretty as some bakery Danish but will far exceed your expectations. Also tried the cherry hand pie which looks like a fruit empanata. Very good. The service is spot on. Staff are sociable while bagging your purchases. Store is clean, bright and fresh. Parking is better than NC shop. But one thing for sure, its well worth a visit.

I bought an Apple Ugly - it was very good, the crust was flaky, filling wasn't too syrupy and seemed to be made from fresh apples with a nice balance of cinnamon. I also bought a Peach Fry Pie, that was disappointing; it's canned pie filling so I probably should've went with cherry. The pastry kind of reminded me of a donut - it was doughy and a bit of a letdown. The cinnamon roll was quite nice - I heated it up for 15 seconds in the microwave, the cream cheese icing melted a bit but it was delicious. I LOVE pistachios and usually eat Middle Eastern pastries (pistachios are native to Iran). I hesitated to purchase the pistachio muffin, partially because I didn't want to be disappointed, but also because of the ongoing Pistachio War and the Wonderful Company's influence on California Water controversies...but I digress. The muffin was delicious - moist, a hint of almond extract, not overly sweet and bursting with pistachio flavor...it reminded my husband of a good pistachio ice cream.

It is challenging to find vegetables and nourishing meals. I am definitely keeping this spot bookmarked for my future travels to Ocean City. I stopped by for a caffeine fix and was met with a decent sized line. I am happy plenty of people are supporting this business. The person at the register was patient and kind as I asked about making the coffee smoothie vegan. They have vegan protein powder they can add to the smoothies and the employee confirmed that the mocha syrup was vegan. I ordered a mocha smoothie, and it hit the spot! Not too sweet, thick enough to be called a smoothie but thin enough to sip through a straw, and overall delicious. I did not get a chance to try their food but was eyeballing the amazing vegan options ranging from smoothie bowls to veggie bowls and wraps. I am looking forward to trying some of those options next time I visit.
