I originally posted the following review about a month ago. After I posted it, I was contacted by…read morethe company begging me to remove my review and they would work with me to solve my problem. Against my better judgement, as well as Yelp itself telling me I should not remove the review, I went ahead and removed it. Well, no solution to my problem was ever presented and the issue(s) listed below still remain. No matter what happens from this point forward, I will not remove this review again! Below is my original review. I've thought long and hard about writing this review. This winter I had my main drain clog about 2 days before the big snowfall, during that vicious cold snap we had. Once the snow was finished and my crawl space was able to be accessed, I called Kaleb as I'm also a veteran. He came and tried to snake it, to no avail. He also commented that my crawl space was the cleanest he has seen. After not getting the main line opened with a snake, he said the only option is to "hydrojet" my line and that would free up any clog I had. He also said that he would knock off the $100 I paid for the snake from the $550 charge for the hydrojet. Well, the hydrojet didn't work and, in fact, made matters worse as all that water (and everything that was in my pipes) went all over my crawl space, which now has a terrible odor. He made no attempt to clean up the mess he made and it cost me a total of $550 to not have the problem solved and my house smell like shit! I'm sorry, but I expected more from one veteran to another. I guess now that the weather is getting nice, I'll have to pressure wash my crawl space myself. Not an easy task, being a couple months shy of 74 and not in the best of health! In short, I hate to say this about a fellow vet, but I do not recommend this company!

My old boiler is about 65 years old. My 2nd floor radiators where not getting hot. The 2nd floor…read morewas always cold in my house. In the past, I had called 2 different heating companies to look at the boiler in my house. Both companies said my boiler was working fine, but yet my 2nd floor was still cold. I had called Lawerence plumbing to look at my furnace. Lawerence plumbing sent 2 technicians, Sam and Ed. It only took 5 minutes and they found the problem. The PSI in the water system was only at 5 Lbs, when it should have been at 15 Lbs. The valves that controls the water pressure in the boiler was corroded and stuck. The boiler system was old, and several other valves were also in need of replacement. Surprisingly, they were able to replace the old worn-out parts without breaking other parts. That's always the fear of working on old plumbing, things tend to snowball. They had to replace some bleeder valves on two of the radiators also. To make a long story short, Sam and Ed did a terrific job fixing my boiler. They were able to restore heat to my 2nd-floor without costing me a small fortune. If I ever need a plumber again, I will gladly call Lawerence Plumbing. They did a terrific job at an honest price. If I do call them again, I hope they send Sam & Ed again. Those two guys really know their stuff. Thanks Lawerence Plumbing and Heating

I see plenty of bad reviews; many of them being pretty old. I can honestly say my experience, about…read morea week ago, was great. Our water heater broke, was leaking, and the shutoff valve didn't work. So we were looking for quick service, and Kennihan's delivered. I called before the start of normal business hours (probably 7am or so). Whomever fields calls off-hours took my information and promised someone would call me back to discuss service in 15-20 minutes. Sure enough in less than 15 minutes I received a call (I believe from the owner) and was informed service would be scheduled as soon as their service desk folks arrived at 8am to see what techs were available and when. Again, I received a call promptly around 8am, discussed my situation, provided the necessary details to get an over-the-phone estimate, and scheduled a service call for that same day. When the tech arrived around 3.5 hours later, he had the old water heater removed, and the new water heater installed in about 4 hours. With all the complaints I saw others post about being "ripped off," I didn't find that to be true. They installed a quality Rheem gas water heater (not one you can buy at Home Depot), a new shutoff valve for the water and gas, and disposed of the old water heater, and some other bulky parts from an old air filter unit (that had nothing to do with the service call). Conversely, my parents used a different HVAC company, and paid a comparable price for a new water heater installation but didn't have same day service, didn't have one that needed replaced/disposed of, and purchased a different brand of water heater. The total difference in price was $300. All-in-all I felt it what we paid was reasonable. By all means, comparison shop, but I'll be calling these guys the next time I have an HVAC problem.

I have two hot water tanks, one I paid 1900 and it ran for 9 years. The one just went bad and this 8000.00 one never worked. I turned it up to 130 and I have no hot water or pressure. I called them to ask if there is a warranty on the tank and told me "well it's two years old." He wanted 179 to look at it. After reviewing the bad reviews, I told him I will add one too. He hung up on me... I do not recommend this business. When he was at the house, he started telling me my Generac was not done correct and wanted other work it seemed. I am quite happy with my Generac company. I had a radon business scheduled and he wanted this service also. I am quite happy with my radon company. No thanks Kennihan. I don't even think one star is appropriate for this business.
