First off, every staff member at North Park Chiropractic is extremely friendly. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The front desk staff will remember you by name so you feel invited so it doesn't give you a normal Dr's office feel. They have cold brew coffee which is excellent. Dr. Amanda is also very nice and welcoming. They won't see you unless they take X rays, which is not something that's offered at every clinic. Reached out for an appointment 10/30..after they took all my insurance info and phone number they completely stopped responding. I reached out a week later and they finally answered that my insurance was out of network I said it was fine I was still interested and wanted to know availability and prices to pay out of pocket. I have been going to NP Chiropractic with Dr. Amanda Foster for a year now and really like it! I originally came in with intense hip, lower back pain from injury from sleeping like a limp noodle that got worse from going to the gym. I am now pain-free and continue to go for ongoing care. When you first come, you do the exams, scans, and x-rays that other reviewers mentioned. You do NOT get adjusted this first time. The second visit is when the doctor reviews the results of the first visit with you and then get adjusted. I asked to have my x-rays and received them the same day. The adjustments themselves are shorter than I have had with other chiropractors, less than 15 minutes. I think the adjustments are still of high quality and are NOT aggressive at all. They do offer other therapies too for your needs, I have used the ultrasound and traction machine and think they have been effective for me. Dr. Amanda is really good about utilizing insurance and has a good payment plan otherwise. I recommend trying out NP Chiropractic to see if it's a good fit for you. read more

Dr. Amanda Foster is an incredible chiropractor. She is thorough, fast, and efficient. I have had chronic pain and injuries in my back/ neck and carpal tunnel in both arms/ hands and knee pain. She has provided me with so much relief and now I'm almost pain free! I didn't really think chiropractic care could help with my arms and knee but I thought I should ask. What a change in my life now that I've been seeing Dr. Goenne! I work full time in a restaurant and it wrecks my back and neck to the point that my mobility was limited. This review has been way over due! I called Dr. Foster in utter desperation for my lower back pain that terribly exacerbated. My entire lower back region was inflamed and the pain was so bad that I could barely get out of bed. I shudder just thinking about the misery I was in! It was a disastrous nightmare.. I had been to another chiropractor a couple months before that for just a general check up and an adjustment for a Groupon deal and I think that's what really messed up my back. Thankfully Dr. Foster told me to come in right away that morning for an exam and we started care right away. We began a treatment plan where I came in for 3 adjustments every week for the first month and a half and then it decreased to 2 adjustments per week. As for the full blown pain, it took about two weeks of adjustments and rest to get better and I grew a deep appreciation for chiropractic care. Dr. Foster was very informative of the possible causes for my back pain and thoroughly explained and made sure I understood the importance of proper spinal care. Also, every 4 weeks, they scheduled me for a re-exam to show my progress and where I needed extra care. Dr. Foster always checked to make sure that I was doing the stretches/exercises along with the adjustments and explained that if I don't do the stretches to build muscle strength, then the chiropractic care would be absolutely futile. What is most important to note in this review is that my lower back pain improved tremendously and if I had not moved to LA, I would still be one of the clients at Foster Chiropractic Clinic. It is a great family atmosphere and the rest of the staff are incredibly organized, always making sure you don't forget your appointments. Aside from the chiropractic care, I genuinely miss seeing them every week because they're so friendly and kind. Chiropractic care is definitely not cheap, but it is important to invest in it because it's ultimately for your health. Every chiropractic clinic has its own philosophy and treatment style, so be open minded and give Foster Chiropractic Clinic a try, especially if you're in some back misery like I was! read more
