Not only is this one of the best libraries I have visited (referring to study space, staff friendliness) in the Orlando area, it is also extremely comfortable. There are tons of different, unique, and spacious chairs to use. There is a section on the 4th floor called "Tower Reading Area" this unique space is hidden and tucked away. Our teacher told us that she isn't an artist, she's a librarian who wants to make opportunities for us, and you know that set the students at ease! We were able to focus on having fun and experimenting with whichever design we wanted to do because fireworks are not cookie cutter shapes! They are irregular, which works very well for me who is new at painting. These classes offered at the library can be reserved on line and they fill up fast, so don't sleep on it! I was very happy with the atmosphere and friendly environment. They provide everything, the canvas, the paints, water and brushes. Signing up online was easy peasy and parking is plentiful. The location is a bit hidden so you'll have to navigate with gps or carefully watch signs. Three branch was clean, well organized and had some good offerings in stock. We grabbed an audio book for my sister after our class ended. The crafting class was excellent. The instructor was welcoming and friendly. We learned how to make bowls with craft paper, balloons and glue. It was a fun social experience, and who doesn't love learning something new?? It's also a great excuse to get messy - and it's not at your own house! ;) Overall: A Sign up for a class and enjoy a free fun event or grab a book (or two) and take em home!

The Seminole public library system has various locations throughout Seminole County.
