He spent lots of time with us discussing air conditioner vs heat pump. He spent time checking our house and then within a day he had a great carefully laid out quote with a couple of options for us. They were able to come and do the installation a week late. The install guys were incredible. They were on time to do the work. They laid out tarps to protect our home anytime they did work inside. They cleaned up after all was done and generally did a remarkable job. We will be recommending Vernon Air conditioning to anyone and everyone who needs any work done in regard to furnaces, heat pump/air conditioner or any other plumbing and electrical work. Do not hire. They started out as a good company, quality work, quality service and I use to…read morepromote them, but now it is up sell, profit and not so great quality. The last time they came at my house was in the winter the tech spent most (about a half hour) of his time trying to sell me on products before he decided to get the furnace running again. My neighbour paid a lot for her furnace and the add ons and the soda ash compartment connection, that they did, failed and they wanted $149 just to show up at the door. They started as customer service orientated and when they got popular, like everything else, greed came first and customer caring second. You can tell by the low rating all caring beyond the money is now secondary.

To make a long story short, I had three appointments booked that were cancelled and rescheduled. After one appointment i was left with 5 leaks in my boiler system. By the time everything was said and done I'd spent $1200, got some new parts and my boiler works exactly the same. My thermostats still do not call for heat, initial problem not solved. On the positive side, the boiler set up does look cleaner now, my technician was very nice, and my boiler room floor looks great after I cleaned up all the water left by the leaks. I'll re-post if anything gets resolved
