It is a real mess. They have gone thru many owners and it seems to go further and further down. There were dead cockroaches all over in the laundry. The grass what little there is is unkept. No one is in the office. You have to call so they come. So disappointed. read more

North Llano River RV Park was great! I usually avoid RV parks and instead aim for state park campgrounds. I drove over the bridge and saw the sites right on the river. They had room for my VW Eurovan for two nights. Did laundry, great supermarket in town, propane down the block. It was perfect for my needs. read more

This was our 2nd visit to this park. Both times our site was very unlevel. We staying in the big rig pull-thru. There are tons of sticker burrs to pull off of your dogs later. We paid $70 and $3 online booking fee. This park is just OK. read more

We booked an RV spot for a quick overnight with our dog. We chose it because it was "pet friendly", however the dog park was a joke. It's a fenced in dirt patch with nothing but ants and sticker burs. The whole park was full of sticker burs and my dog couldn't take two steps without limping and trying to pull sticker burs out of her paws. This place is NOT pet friendly. Everything felt run down and neglected. EThe guy who helped us book was very sweet and helpful but we would not stay here again. read more

This RV park was great in many ways such as facilities, availability and amenities. The reason why it is a standout place is that the ppl that work there are so invested in making your stay the best. The woman at the front desk, her assistant and the grounds men all made me feel at home by doing the extra things and by treating me as a VIP. You wont find better customer service. read more

Great stay! We arrived early afternoon and was grated by two gentlemen in a golf cart to escort us to our site. We were given our choice of two sites, both appeared to be equally level. Our reservation was made by phone several weeks earlier and payment was made in full. A lady in the office greated me to give me the park map, park rules and my receipt. It was a Perfect site, north facing and level with full hook up. Definitely would visit again and recommend it to all. read more

Great park! Came in late at night and the office had a map and instructions waiting for us in the box. They knew we were traveling with dogs and they gave us the perfect pull through spot just across from the dog park. The park was quite and cozy for the night. We were traveling so we only stayed one night but I'll definitely go back if I'm ever in the area with my RV. read more

We stayed here 1 night while passing through. We got there late and had to self register, which was easy. The campground was clean and had nice big trees. There were a lot of grass areas for our dogs to enjoy. One side of the campground was bordered by the river. It's a very pretty location. It appears you could go in the river but we did not. Great park, Kelly in the office was tremendous even checked on us the day of our arrival- just in case we were going to be a 'late arrival'. It's a large quiet park with easy access to/ from the instate 10 Hwy. They have a pool and laundry which we did not use. Even though the park was only half full they spread us all around the park for a sense of privacy and on top of one another. Only negative is the wifi is VERY SPOTTY and there are absolutely no analog or digital TV stations. But, we were only passing thru for one night so the quiet park (no train or Hwy traffic noise) was exactly what we wanted for a good nights sleep! Highly recommend staying here!!! read more

Most RV parks have friendly staff; Junction North has some of the most friendly staff there is. Like others have cited, they are very helpful. The park itself is very quiet and at night, very dark. The facilities are immaculate. If you've come here to get some rest, you are in luck. There's easy access from I-10. The one issue we had was with our power pedestal, but we were able to remedy that issue quickly. I'd stay at Junction North again. read more

The hubs and I were so excited for our stay at this lovely park. Unfortunately on the day we were to arrive with only a few hours away, we were advised that my hub's mother had a serious medical emergency, so we turned around and headed to Florida. I called and spoke with Martha at the park to explain and was pleasantly surprised and grateful when she offered to refund our entire stay fee. I was expecting at least to pay for one night. Nice right. And she was truly compassionate and wished us the best with our family emergency. So, no we haven't physically stayed at this park, but I can tell you their Martha is the bomb. This park is convenient to the hiway and has plenty of space. Staff is friendly and it's quiet at night . I gave 3 stars because of the bathroom. The showers are very dangerous because of slippery tile and the steep slope of the shower stall. You can see some ancient bits of non-slip tape on the floor, but it needs serious attention! We stopped here early Feb on our way south and enjoyed it so much we drove our motorhome an extra few hours to stay again on our way north, staying 2 nights. Hosts Kelly and Patty are 2 of the most pleasant, efficient and accomodating we've met in our many travels. At checkin Kelly led us in a golf cart to our space, which we requested again for easy river access. The park is well kept, spaces wide with lovely lawn, barbq and table. We were delighted to be able to put our kayaks in the little shallow river both days. Not a long run, but super relaxing. read more

this is the worst park I have ever stayed at. called 30 minutes before my arrival and gave them my cc info. when I arrived, an hour before they were supposed to close I was locked out and there was no paperwork for me I tried to call and email with no answer. I used a guest check in code and picked a site. hooked up to find no power. moved to another site. an hour later the owners show up and accuse us of sneaking in. unbelievable. the bathrooms were so gross and the ceiling in the shower was falling down. couldn't get out fast enough. read more

We stopped here for an overnight. The shower facilities were clean, but dated. The sites are pull through and since we were after hours and had a reservation, we paid by dropping through the after hours drop. If you don't have a reservation, I don't know how you would get through as there is a gate that requires a code. A pilot j is a few minutes down the road and has decent coffee. There is a play area which worked out for our kids, as they needed to burn off some energy from the long drive. read more

I don't give 5:5 often but this place is well deserving. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay while we were passing through. The staff came out and greeted us well after closing and showed us to our site. Not often do you come across a place like that. It's nestled under some tall trees and spacious grounds. The ground was level and most spaces are right on the river. Where do I begin. This was one of the worst campgrounds I've ever stayed in for multiple reasons. First, when we arrived they acted like they didn't know that we would have two vehicles or the length of our RV but I literally didn't make the reservation until I knew the size of the RV we were renting. Therefore they moved us to a different spot that did not have a charcoal grill and did not have the pergola giving us shade. Two things I specifically asked for when making my reservation. The owners or managers were less than friendly when checking in, but the guy who showed us to our spot was downright rude! One time when coming back in the park I accidentally drove through an empty campsite and he ran me down on his golf cart, almost causing me to hit him because he drove up from behind on the passenger side of the car and then swung around in front of me forcing me to stop so he could come up to the drivers side window and chew me out about driving thru an empty campsite. I honestly had no idea I had even done that because there's more dirt than grass and no real distinction to most of the sites so it's hard to tell the sites from the road at times. Also I'm grateful we were able to shower in our RV because the bathrooms are majorly outdated and the shower stalls are absolutely disgusting. The toilet area seemed somewhat clean, enough to go to the bathroom, but the shower stalls either had soap scum or paint visibly peeling down the walls in huge chunks. I would not have showered in there even if I had to! If I could give a 0 or minus rating I would. It's unfortunate, because the campground itself is a beautiful location and it has Llano River access but this place needs serious updating and better customer service for sure. read more

We haven't actually stayed here, but wanted to give them huge props for the help they gave us on New Year's Eve. After driving for 10 hours on icey roads, it was dark and we were exhausted and couldn't drive anymore. The entire town of Junction was overbooked - hotels, RV parks, everything, due to the ice. The lady who answered the phone was so compassionate and helpful and even though they were full, she guided us to a safe place we could spend the night and I am forever grateful!! read more

The new owners/hosts are working hard to make it a wonderful park for the RVer. One night stop on the way from California to Florida. This is a great stopping place. Nicely laid out park, great hosts. Escort to the site and help positioning the rig. Diesel available near the interstate. Nice grassy site with 2 chairs and small table and picnic bench. BBQ and firepit at the site. River is bordering the site to the north....lovely stars at night. Saw some bats catching bugs was cool. I would stop here again if we are in the area. read more
