I got new dental insurance and called to schedule an appt and they asked for my insurance info so they can verify if I can go there. They called back and said it was all good to go. After a cleaning and X ray for my wife and I we got a letter saying from my insurance saying the services where denied. After calling back to the dentist to say what happened they blamed it all on the insurance saying it was there fault. After filing three claims with my insurance I never heard anything. Fast forward three years later I get a letter and paper worked served to me saying I now owe 988 dollars or I will be sued. Not some of this is my fault but when the staff says they check and I am covered when they really didn't verify and the insurance says they have no recording of it I get really upset. Really wish it could of been different.

Every single person in the office is lovely and caring. In terms of treatment, I feel that my treatment plan is always open and honest. I don't feel pressured into anything, but rather am explained their recommendations for care and a recommended timeline. Also, the tech is pretty cool! (The 3D tooth mapping is awesome lol). Most recently I got a crown, which I have not been looking forward to. Mel was amazing and explained everything about the process and consistently checked in to make sure I was doing okay. That all being said, I can't tell you what a wonderful experience I had here. Wonderful is a stretch as I had a tooth extracted so not too much fun. I know things are a bit different as we are in the COVID times but I entered the building, filled out reasonable paperwork and was taken directly back. Didn't weight long for Dr. Nielsen. She went over all my options, was completely transparent with her treatment plan and cost. She built customer trust right away. Her overall concern seemed to be my overall welfare while in her seat. The office staff and dental assistants were super friendly, professional, helpful and while the actual treatment wasn't fun, her approach and bedside manner really won me over. Take note that I'm not an "Easy A" so you speak. I was embarrassed to admit how long it had been, and they were SO nice and not judgmental about it in any way. Cleanings Twice a year religiously, fillings, chipped teeth all services at Pak's office. Long story short, my Insurance offered a special at another office to get crowns with no out-of-pocket cost to me. Pak wanted $1000+ for crown work. I got the crown done at the other office yet still went back to Pak for all my other dental needs. YEAR+ after I had the new crown at the other office and RETURNED for several cleanings at Dr. Pak''s office. He decided that I should go back to the other office to resume my dental Care. I'm not sure if he felt disloyalty or the loss of money or ? For decades, I enjoyed the staff at his office. They are fabulous. I've known his hygienist since High School. I can't recommend him for the way I was treated. I'm not a rich man so I'm pretty sure anyone else would have taken a free service over paying $1000's of dollars. He doesn't seem to feel that way. ‍
