My child is a super picky eater, but the staff is amazing at working with me to ensure mealtimes are positive and tailored to her needs. The communication here is fantastic--daily updates and as-needed feedback keep me in the loop, and during the first week, Mrs. Anne kept me posted daily on how my child doing every transition and activity that really put my mind at ease. When we found out our child qualified for preschool SPED services at Arovista Elementary (across…read moretown and not our home school), we were worried about finding him daycare. We needed before and after school care. One of the school nurses recommended CCs. She had observed kids there before and said that she was impressed with how well the teachers worked with some SPED children that were there. When we contacted Michelle, the director, she was very kind in helping us set up a place for our child to be at. Our child was there for three years. CCs is a small, private school/daycare. The atmosphere is calm and quiet, and while younger kiddos can be a ruckus in general...it never felt chaotic or overstimulating. I think it's because all the teachers have the same clear expectations across the board for all their students. They are organized. There's consistency and routine which is important for kids, even more so for a SPED child. CCs also provided a safe place where our child could get behavioral therapy. His aides always commented that the teachers are kind, understanding, consistent with expectations and always willing to work with them. Additionally, many of the teachers there have a background in early education studies. It felt like they were early educators, as opposed to just daycare workers. Communication was also very easy. Michelle is always willing to work with you. Whenever we picked up our child, he was always happy. We could tell that they truly cared about him and for that we are thankful. We were fortunate to have found them when we did.

I have a 4-year-old who is highly energetic and requires extra attention at times. I had a terrible experience with her first daycare (North Fullerton KinderCare) and had to pull her out after experiencing retaliation for reporting a teacher for abuse. I am the sole provider for my family so unfortunately staying home is not an option for me. I visited a couple of different daycares, explained my situation, asked a million questions and ultimately ended up deciding on CC's. My daughter adjusted to the change right away. The teachers were all nice, fun, and patient with her. My daughter doesn't respond well to grouchy teachers or to yelling, she tends to rebel more. Their approach for correcting her behavior worked because they paid attention to the little things that motivated her and their approach was not aggressive but rather compassionate. Michelle is resourceful and willing to help with information and resources, and she is very involved in the day to day. The communication and their way of handling every situation and behavior made all the difference. I knew my daughter was in good hands and because of that I had the peace of mind that I needed to be able to concentrate on work without the added stress that I was experiencing before. CC's was the best decision I ever made. She is now attending public school but I will definitely be taking her back for the summer.

I am sharing my experience with Kiddie Academy of Buena Park because I believe parents deserve to…read moreknow how a serious incident involving my 10-month-old son was handled-- by HR and Corporate! I do want to start off by saying Ms. Karla and Mrs. Jasmine in the office as well as many of the other teachers were amazing in the almost 4 years that my other children attended. Up until my youngest son started at Kiddie Academy I loved the school, referred people to the school and spoke so highly of it but after this incident and how HR and Corporate are handling it, it's extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. On July 2, 2026, an incident occurred between my infant son and an employee. Management reviewed surveillance footage of the incident, and the employee was subsequently removed from the classroom and terminated. Based on what I witnessed myself and what was communicated to me regarding the footage, the incident involved the employee flicking my son's in the nose, smacking his arm which made him scream and cry and flicking remaining water from her hands into his face after washing her hands. I reported the matter to Community Care Licensing and the Buena Park Police Department. One of my biggest concerns has been the handling of the surveillance footage. I specifically requested that the footage be preserved because it documented what happened to my son. I was later informed that the surveillance system automatically overwrites footage after approximately four days and that the footage was no longer available. I have repeatedly asked why footage involving an incident serious enough to result in an employee's termination was not preserved, particularly after I requested that it be saved. I have not received an explanation. I have also repeatedly requested complete written documentation regarding the incident. After more than two months of requests my emails went unread and phone calls and voicemails never answered or called back. I finally emailed again stating all the violations they were violating by keeping this information from me and sure enough I received an report that was not filled out correctly. In my opinion, the report did not adequately document what management had observed on the surveillance footage. Instead of describing the specific actions involving my son, the report stated that the "employee was terminated for not follow Kiddie Academy policies and procedures" and stated nothing else. I've emailed them again asking for a corrected report and again have been left without a response! I have also raised concerns about discrepancies between what I was told occurred and information provided in connection with the Community Care Licensing investigation. I have repeatedly requested clarification regarding those discrepancies. Throughout this process, I have sent multiple emails, made phone calls, and contacted HR and corporate seeking answers and documentation concerning my own child. Many of my questions have gone unanswered, and I have experienced significant difficulty obtaining responses. What concerns me most as a parent is the lack of transparency and communication after such a serious incident involving an infant who could not speak for himself. I am sharing my personal experience and the events as they were communicated to me and documented through my communications with the HR, corporate, law enforcement, and Community Care Licensing. Parents considering this facility may want to ask specific questions about: * How long surveillance footage is retained * Under what circumstances footage involving a serious incident is preserved * How incidents involving employees are documented * What information is reported to Community Care Licensing * What documentation parents receive when an incident involves their child * How HR and corporate communicate with families after a serious incident And what are they doing to protect our children. I trusted this facility with my infant son. After what occurred, I expected transparency, accurate documentation, preservation of relevant information, and timely communication. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I have made numerous attempts to address these concerns privately before posting publicly. I am sharing my experience now because I believe other parents have the right to ask these questions and make informed decisions about who they trust to care for their children.
