But this time I stopped in without an appointment, expecting a long wait, but Doniven took care of me right away. I explained I had just hit a curb and was worried about a puncture in my tire, he was professional and knowledgeable and really took his time inspecting my tires and clearly explained to me all of my options. Doniven helped me choose the best pricing options for my budget, and had my payment & keys within 10 minutes, all while calmly managing a busy lobby alongside his team!   What impressed me most was how quickly everything was handled--I was completely done in a little over an hour. Throughout the process, the back team kept me updated on the status of my vehicle, which I really appreciated. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, personable, and genuinely focused on providing great customer service. I'm very grateful for their help and would definitely recommend Discount Tire to anyone needing tire service or replacement!

I had an appt for a tire rotation at 11 in the morning about two weeks ago. When I arrived it was…read morebusy so I didn't get checked in for almost 20 minutes. I was told they were behind and it'd be about an hour and a half until my car was serviced, I had my toddler with me but assumed we'd be fine waiting that long. I didn't leave until three hours after my appt slot. I had to cancel appointments I had later in the day because I didn't leave until just about 2pm. Service members were apologetic and I let it slide because they were very busy but I had to approach them for any updates on status which was frustrating especially when it went over the initial hour and a half estimate. My husband had an appt for 4:15 today to get a rotation and balance. He was also told it'd be an hour and a half- he didn't leave until after 7. Extremely frustrating again but service members were apologetic and I wasn't going to leave this review BUT when he got home he realized that the balance that he went for wasn't even performed. One star for apologetic team members but something has to be done about how appointments are handled.

I strongly advise everyone to AVOID the SAN JOSE LOCATION. The staff makes a major difference, and the San Jose branch is simply not it. They take advantage of single women by overcharging. I ended up paying almost $400 for only two tires. To make matters worse, they failed to give me a price estimate before the service began--they only handed it to me after the work was already started. They also told me it would take 45 minutes to an hour, but I was forced to wait 1.5 hours. When I realized what was happening and asked for my keys back so I could leave and go to another shop, the employee claimed he would match the competitor's price. He didn't. When I questioned him about the extra add-ons on my bill, he gave me an attitude and got incredibly rude. Save yourself the money and the headache. Just drive a little further down the road to the other Discount Tire location where they actually treat you right.

My Z06 previously had the wheels painted prior to me purchasing which I was unaware of until about 6 months of owning the car the poor quality started to show and the old chrome finish started to peak through. Made an appointment and it took a few days to get the car back but it was 1000% worth it. The wheels look brand new and actually ride smoother after they balanced the tires. Lugs were all torqued correctly and I couldn't be more pleased. I never post reviews unless it is bad enough for a lawsuit or good enough of an experience to justify letting others know how great of a job they are capable of. Plus they saved me about 4k not having to buy forged wheels which was the other option I was contemplating.

Paisanos to the rescue. I brought the my wheel and used tire to Paisanos. The second I parked my car, the owner walked up to me, unloaded the wheel from the trunk and brought the wheel to one of the bays. His minions then went to work right away, uninstalling the old tire to place the newer tire. Within 10 minutes or less, badabing, badaboom....the newer tire was installed and I was outta there. I'm still at awe at how fast they got the job done, despite how busy they were. What an excellent service. All the staff I have encountered was courteous and friendly.
