1-Star Review for H.E.S HVAC Services…read more As a Veteran and current National Guard member who values integrity and trust, my experience with H.E.S HVAC was deeply disappointing and represents the worst repair service I've encountered in over 20 years. The issues began with a simple thermostat problem that should have been resolved quickly. Instead: * The technician, Anthony, was unable to diagnose and fix what was ultimately a basic thermostat issue * I had to schedule THREE separate service visits over FIVE DAYS while my family remained without proper heating during this time * Each visit incurred a $150 service charge, regardless of actual time spent * They consistently rounded up their service time (31 minutes was billed as a full hour) * My initial bill was nearly $900 for what amounted to approximately 45 minutes of actual work The customer service problems were equally concerning: * Supervisor James demonstrated the same poor customer service as the technician * When I questioned the charges and multiple visits, the technician became hostile * Most shockingly, during the final visit, the technician told me that "I was the fing problem" and that "he had to fix my fing work" - completely unprofessional and unacceptable language What should have been a straightforward repair turned into a week-long ordeal that left my family without proper heating and cost significantly more than it should have. The combination of technical incompetence, questionable billing practices, and abusive language makes this company impossible to recommend. I strongly suggest that potential customers take the low reviews here seriously and look elsewhere for HVAC services.

One was an apprentice. They charged us for the labor of both people. I never heard of some body charging the customers to train the apprentice. They made 2 trips to identify the problem and charged outrageous amount. This probably is the worst electrical service company in that area

I called and requested an appointment to have someone diagnose my heat pump and find out why I had…read moreno air conditioning. An appointment was set for Friday March 28th, between 12 noon and 2pm. I was told the technician would call when they were on their way. We were home all day on Friday, expecting someone to show up for the service call. At 2:15 pm, when no one showed up, and we did not receive a phone call, I called Basin Refrigeration and the lady told me the technician probably got hung up on another call. I told her that the technician should have at least called to let us know. She checked with the technician and then told me he would be at our house within an hour. I informed her that if he did not show up within an hour, I wanted to cancel the service call. About 5 minutes later I received a call from a different lady at Basin Refrigeration, and she told me the only time they could guarantee that a technician would be at my house is if I booked for the first thing in the am! She then asked me if I wanted to cancel the service call, since they could not guarantee the technician would make it to my house today, the same day as the service call was scheduled. I cancelled the service call. Told her that if the service call was set up for Noon-2pm and I wasn't home when they showed up, they would be upset and mark me down as a "no show". I would not, under any circumstances recommend this company for any air conditioning, heating, plumbing or otherwise.

Despite my plea, they were "too busy" and made it clear they wouldn't help w my new construction. Two years later I practically BEGGED Basin to help with a mini-split AC installation and again I was shut down by the receptionist (who might be named Cruella I'm not sure ). "Could I speak with the owner?" Was my plea but I doubt my problem ever reached his desk. Basin is a very large company and they may have gotten large by doing the small things right and caring for us lonely homeowners but NOT ANY MORE. If you want caring, "community-driven" help from people who care - this is NOT Basin's model. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
