The previous contractor had taken months to install flooring in my mother's kitchen, hallway and bathroom. Multiple inspections determined that a simple adjustment and completion of the project wasn't possible. The job was so bad that the entire floor that had been installed had to be ripped up and redone. We needed a redo- and we chose Bob's team. They did not disappoint. Gavin and Tyler were extremely courteous to my mom. They worked fast, showing up early and worked hard through the day. The cleanliness was immaculate and the job was done with care and precision. * * * * * PERSONAL PROPERTY STOLEN * * * * *…read more Long story short, personal items of low monetary but immeasurable sentimental value were stolen from my home. The opportunity to return the items anonymously without repercussion was extended, but my items have not been returned. * * * * * PERSONAL PROPERTY STOLEN * * * * * The work that was completed was done well enough. They even went above and beyond to work with my existing antiquated utilities. The mess left behind was no worse than that of other tradesmen I have hired (dust, greasy fingerprints, bootprints, etc). One of the men took one of my kitchen towels and used it as a rag without asking. It was then left balled up on the floor. I didn't even bother calling to complain about this, but in retrospect...* * * * This may have been a tactic to draw my attention away from the shelf where my personal belongings were stolen from.* * * * If you hire this company, get the full names of ALL of the workers who will be in your home. Google them before letting them in. If your gut tells you not to let them in, do not let them in. Do not take your eyes off them for a second. Do not allow one worker to distract you while the other(s) are unattended. If possible, place cameras, even around items of no/low value, kids' toys, knick-knacks, etc, even if they are too high up to reach normally. If you do not have video cameras, take before pictures of any room they have access to. Do not allow them to remove trash/debris from your home. Insist that they leave any garbage bags behind and check them thoroughly before throwing them away yourself. Take inventory of your belongings immediately. Record and photograph anything odd, even if it isn't something you would usually bother complaining about. If anything has gone missing, NO MATTER HOW LOW IN VALUE, file a police report. I do real estate full-time and I first used them to assess the sewer lines in an apartment building my brother and I were personally in the process of buying and he found a sink hole underneath due to the corroded sewer lines (saving us thousands of dollars.) Ever since I have recommended them to all my buyer and seller clients in need of a plumbing inspection, repair or scope! Which is honestly saying a lot, because after 11 years in real estate, I have very very few contractors I recommend. Because a lot are unreliable, but NOT them! They respond quickly, they show up, they are available in emergencies, they do great work, they are super knowledgeable, they are honest and they NEVER pressure my clients into repairs they don't need. They treat your home like it's their home and what they'd personally and professionally recommend! There is also not enough space in here to share all the things they've caught for my clients: rotted sewer stack mains, sewer gas leaks, water intrusion, leaking lines, safety concerns and so much more. Plus, the willingness to put my clients mind at ease by discussing their reports in person or over the the phone at literally all hours. And never making you feel like any question is a silly question... they truly care! If you hire them I promise you won't regret it! Thank you so much Sean, Justin and the K & S Family for being the best in the business! You so appreciated!! Sincerely, A realtor who only trusts them for all her and her clients plumbing needs! (I attached some photos from a recent job, where they scoped and saw the sewer stack was rotted. They then replaced it and replaced all the old waterlines as well.)

Why I Terminated Auburn Heating, Plumbing & Air Conditioning…read more Companies reveal their character when something goes wrong. An Auburn service technician recommended repairs that would have cost us thousands of dollars. Auburn's senior management later confirmed that those repairs were clearly unnecessary. During a subsequent service visit, Auburn's technicians damaged our carpeting. Auburn turned the claim over to its insurer, which offered only a fraction of the replacement cost, and Auburn denied any further responsibility. Unnecessary recommendations, damaged property, and a refusal to make the customer whole--that is why we will no longer do business with Auburn.

Shortly after, the technician (Jeff) called me back extremely upset, claiming we were "bugging" them, and stated that the owner instructed him to cancel our job and process a full refund. I explained that this was our first phone call today to management and we were simply looking for a timeline since we hadn't heard back all weekend. But he refused to listen, claimed he told us to wait until Monday (which is not in our call recordings or my notes), and canceled the service. Very unprofessional conduct. We suspect this company is discriminatory due to us not sounding like we are from the area and being based out of state. We also paid for our job, but have yet to receive a full refund.

I went on the roof with him and he noticed damage in some areas. My insurance company sent out one of their inspectors and he noted the damage. It took some time and some fighting with my insurance company, but they guided me through the process and in the end the whole roof was replaced for just the cost of my $1,000 deductible. It looks great! And I highly recommend them Just be patient through the process.
