Fast forward to today when I show up for my appointment. They told me that they tried texting me and calling me all day to confirm my appointment with no Response. I told them I hadn't received any messages or calls and when they read me back the phone numbers they had those weren't my numbers. Mind you it was not my fault they didn't have my correct phone number. So I showed up for my appointment and they were mad at me for not responding and saying I would be there. The dentist proceeded to lecture me and let me know they tried to reach me with no answer. Again, I told him you can call the phone number that I gave you. It's in my hand. You had the wrong number. So he got mad at me for not answering messages to the wrong number. He told me I had a history of canceled appointments, which I have been there for several years and had a lot of work done. I did not habitually cancel or miss appointments. I left work 45 minutes early to show up to a dentist appointment that I had scheduled and even asked at the time of making the appointment if they needed my number. I was stunned and still can't believe I was being lectured about an appointment that I showed up to and had no idea they were trying to get a hold of me. Why would you be upset with a patient that showed up to an appointment she made? I said it was extremely rude to talk to me that way and I was leaving. I told them I would look for a new dentist and he said "perfect. Good bye." I do not recommend this place.

I trusted Dr. Taylor's choice and feel he did well. For over a year now I have gone in for my regular checkups at Dr. Reeder's office with no problems. In February, 2018 I realized I needed a hip replacement. I saw my primary care doctor, as advised, for my pre-op evaluation and was cleared for surgery. Then two weeks before I was scheduled for my hip replacement surgery I discovered a problem in my mouth. I called Dr. Reeder's office explained my concern. They got me in to the office immediately. After examining my mouth Dr. Reeder discovered I had an abscess under one of my teeth. Knowing I was going in for major surgery he set out to help me address the problem which included having a permanent bridge installed. This went forward amazingly smoothly because he has the latest technology at his fingertips and a wonderful support staff. Due to no fault of Dr. Reeder, or his support staff, the bridge didn't arrive by UPS as promised the Thursday before my scheduled surgery on Tuesday of the following week. He learned that it was at the distribution site in St. Johnsbury. The next morning, Friday, he drove over personally and picked up my permanent bridge and had me into his office at 12:00 PM calmly putting it into my mouth. I left an hour later ready for surgery and five weeks post-surgery I can happily report I have no complications from either procedure. If you are looking for a capable, caring, compassionate dentist I highly recommend Dr. Reeder. He is exceptional in the field of dentistry and cares about his patients health and well-being. I feel the same about his stellar support staff. They all work together to help make dental care go smoothly.

So, making this appointment was a significant step as I hadn't been to the dentist in quite some time and last time I was living in a different state. I was initially told I'd have to make 2 separate appointments: one for xrays and evaluation, the next for the cleaning. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was able to do all of this in one visit! Chelsea was my hygienist and she was amazing! Super gentle, explained everything she was doing during the xrays and evaluation and my teeth didn't hurt at all while she cleaned. I was so much more relaxed that I anticipated. Dr. Rose came in and evaluated quickly; I did have to come back for a few fillings...to be expected by me of course. Prices are fair I guess, as I do not have insurance. The entire staff of Maple Way is so friendly and helpful, they truly go above and beyond to provide exceptional care. My hygienist does a very thorough job---and on the few occasions when I've had to see a different hygienist, and they have always been equally thorough. Dr. Rose is one of the kindest, warmest people you'll ever meet, and she is truly an exceptional dentist. In addition to standard dental care, she also does some cosmetic dentistry, and she did an incredible job creating crowns for my front teeth, resulting in a smile that I am often complimented on---prior to that, I was very self-conscious of my smile and always tried to keep my lips closed.
