Little alley of food carts and back entrance to pinball

This place deserves a 6th star! Ncp is definitely a high score in my books. We visited today for a private history of pinball session with the owner, Will. As a video game nerd and retro collector, it was so fun to be with another enthusiast and talk all things pinball. Will has a great level of courtesy and inclusion in this clean and welcoming place - super bonus points for a gender neutral restroom and signs showing all are welcome. The self service vending machines are a great kid friendly idea too. I loved hearing the Pin Bot music score played across the room when I played. I was able to play a lot of the machines and my favorite was Godzilla and The Adams Family. I enjoyed the objectives and challenge level. A big kudos to Will for his passion in preserving all of these machines and keeping all of them in prestige condition regardless of age. I could easily spend another day playing through all the machines again. This place is worth the stop off 101 or when driving through the capes or even down from Seaside or Astoria. Drive down and enjoy the amazing ocean views en route. Looking forward to my next visit for another round of high score attempts and tilts!

This place is a small but mighty gem in Nehalem. They offer a nice variety of game options at various price points. I'm in love with the Elvira machine! The tokens are fairly priced, so you can get a lot of playtime for your buck. Signs make it clear right off the bat that it's a safe and inclusive space...and that vibe truly radiates throughout. The staff is warm and welcoming. We had a wonderful time with our daughter while she was visiting home from college. I think NCP sets a great standard and I would love to see more businesses like this on the coast. Well done, and we'll be back!

I've banged balls around at quite a few spots, but I'm certain this is the nicest, friendliest place and most inclusive spot I've slapped steel at! The owner is very approachable, the selection of games is definitely pinball heavy, but the selection of pinball games is stellar. They also are all running great whenever I've stopped in! Has a very community minded feel, and I like feels like that Throw some bucks down and have some fun!

What a fun and all affirming space! Great selection of pinball machines and $5 can last you a good bit of time. The space is safe for all, don't believe me check out the restroom or should I say resource room. Super nice owner with a fun spirit!!

If you don't love this place, you should seek medical attention immediately. When we heard about this magical unicorn business that was opening, we immediately added it to our list of MUST DOs. My teenagers loved it! I loved it! My preschooler crawled under the pinball machines and found 2 tokens and NO ONE GAVE HER THE STINK EYE! The owner is so friendly and welcoming; if I hadn't been star-struck I would've loved to learn more about pinball from him and I get the feeling he would've been happy to share. FUNHOUSE 4EVA

Such an awesome surprise in a tiny coastal town. He has many of my favorite pinball machines and they're all well maintained and playable.

Ask the Community - North Coast Pinball

If my group of 6 sign up for May 27, what do you get for $35 and for how long does it last?

Hi! My apologies for not seeing this earlier. Our Airbnb experience lasts 90 minutes, during which time we look closely at how pinball machines are designed, maintained and—most importantly—played. More details and a link to the experience can be… Read more

My mom was a die-hard Ms. Pac-Man slinger back in the day, and my brother and I would burn through quarters like we were trying to keep the Oregon economy alive. The place still carries that old-school magic classic skee-ball lanes, the photo booth that's been snapping goofy faces for decades, and enough blinking lights to make a grown man feel like a kid again. Old games, new games bells ring, tickets sing, and nostalgia swings. Now these days your fun card works over at the rides too, and let me tell you something about those bumper cars. The track looks small... but those little devils spin, bang, and ricochet like a bar fight on roller skates. Fast, loud, and chaotic in other words, perfect. I always run a few laps there, but this trip I talked my wife into the Tilt-A-Whirl, that beautiful old beast that feels like it's been spinning folks silly since the 1920s. You know the one with the operator stick push forward and she flies, pull back and those cars start spinning like a politician dodging questions. By the time it really got going, we were holding on for dear life. I was laughing. My wife... not so much. Now I'll admit something bittersweet. Seaside isn't quite the little carnival town it used to be. They tore out the old roller coaster, a bunch of rides, and even that little snow cone shack at the end. These days it's more shops, more crowds, more folks than a church picnic on payday. But even with all that... Seaside still holds the crown on the Oregon coast. The beach cuts the wind just right, the Prom is perfect for a long walk, Broadway's buzzing, and the Turnaround still feels like the center of the whole show. So here's the rhyme and the reason, the simple seaside truth: Walk the Prom, hear the gulls cry, smell the salt in the air. Play some games, crash some cars, spin 'til you don't care. Drop a few bucks, laugh all day, let the good times expand Because a trip to Seaside just ain't complete... without a little time at Funland. Five stars. Still the king of coast-town fun.

I purchased a $10, and somehow a recurring $-0 monthly charge was later added to my card without my knowledge or consent. Now I have to go through the hassle of disputing it with my credit card company. I strongly recommend avoiding this place, or at the very least, paying cash and closely reviewing your receipts and statements.

Marsh's Free Museum is the legendary home of Jake himself (you can find him in the back). The shop is an absolute treasure trove of curiosities. It features a mix of your classic beach-town souvenirs alongside more "not-so-typical" fare, like unique books, sweatshirts, and even knives. If you have some spare quarters, the old-school mechanical games are a must-play! The service here has always been great, super attentive and friendly. As for value, some things are a little expensive, but they also have affordable stuff if you look hard enough. They are not any more expensive than any other shop in Long Beach. I always make it a point to stop here every single time I'm in Long Beach. Whether you're just starting your trek down the strip or looking for the perfect place to end your journey, this spot is a PNW essential.

There are lot of curios, from taxidermy animals to old orchestreons. A lot of the amusing displays are in the back and in corners. I would say if you have small kids to be careful bringing them in as it seems like there are a lot of delicate items, from the piles of beautiful seashells in the front, to the porcelain items in the back. It is such a fun and unique place to visit, and the best part is that it's free! Although you will definitely walk away having purchased something.
