If I could give this arcade an extra star I would. I frequent a lot of arcades. It's always been one of my favorite things to do. This arcade is in a league of it's own. It's spotless! The bathroom was shinny, smelled fresh, and fully stocked. The carpet was stain free, the games were all shinny, nothing was covered in finger prints. They have a beer and wine bar for the adults. What I liked the most was the bang for your buck! It's something like $10.00 for an hour of FREEPLAY! In this economy that's a darn good deal. If we lived in town we would take our daughter every weekend. If you are on vacation and looking for something to do this place is tons of fun. Perfect for families, a date night, friends hanging out, this place is fun for all ages. The amount of awesome pinball machines they have is just wild. I was in heaven. read more

Stopped in as we were spending spring break on the coast for our twin boys birthday and it's become a yearly family trip coming to the Oregon Coast. Anyways we were looking for time to kill before checking into our AirBnb so we decided to go to this arcade, the cool thing is they have tons of pinball machines and some old school arcade games like Donkey Kong, Galaga, Burgertime, Ms Pac-Man, Centipede etc. they have lots of games for kids and it's not over priced like some arcades, they also serve food with clean restrooms. I walked up to the bar and two people just looked at me and didn't say a word. I wasn't sure who was going to help me. Finally, one of them spoke up and asked for my order. We've wanted to try this place for years and I'm glad we did! Cheap drinks, two for under $12-13, and $50 on the reloadable game cards kept us busy for almost 3 hours. There was a large variety of games to choose from which was great and the amenities were nice and clean. My only thing to say needs improvement is how hot it is inside, you'll definitely want to take off your coat and go outside to cool off a few times! Could've used some AC and, or, fans. Quite a few games were out of service and the prize machine at the end was super slow and all of the bottom row did not dispense prizes. So if you wanted something that cost 25 tickets or less, you're out of luck. read more

Customer service at the bar was awesome. The selection of beer was decent. The selection of pinball machines here is awesome. Most of the pinball machines here are the limited edition versions and look very new and nice. That being said it is sad to see that there are several machines with pretty critical issues. For example on the Deadpool machine the "battle" scoop shot is not functioning at all which is an absolutely critical shot. The attack on mars machine doesn't lower the bank target like it should for attacking the saucer. The catapult doesn't appear to be shooting the ball at full power on medieval madness. And several of the machines appear to be severely lacking launch power making it impossible to aim your launch. read more

Being a pinball enthusiast and frequent visitor of arcades across the US, Game Over is hands down the best arcade out there, but I am only reviewing from a pinball perspective. They have a massive selection of modern pinball machines with a vast majority of them being Stern limited edition, and all tested functional, operational, and immaculately clean. The best part is that they have quite a few machines which are hard to come by a two week have never seen or played. One peace of plastic broke on a machine we were playing and immediately they were making attempts to bring the machine back to order. These folks respect pinball and their machines and I highly recommend them to any enthusiast! read more

This was an interesting arcade to visit. We were looking for something fun to do after dinner and we chose Game Over Arcade. It's a little different than other arcades that I've been to. First off, the games here do not have coin slots at all. You have to buy a special card (with cash or credit card) that you use to activate the games. You can choose how many credits you can load on your card - for example, 100 credits is $10, 200 credits is $20, etc. These cards are reusable so you can use them again when you return. Don't throw them out or lose them! After coming here, I think using a card instead of carrying coins is way easier. More arcades should use this option. My boyfriend and I played a whole variety of games - we played skee ball, basketball, and Mario Kart together. We used a claw machine but we didn't win anything from it. I played a Rick & Morty pinball machine and a QBert arcade cabinet. My boyfriend played a Batman pinball machine and now wishes that he played the Guitar Hero machine. It's way in the back of the building and we didn't realize it until we were leaving. To be honest, this arcade is way smaller than most of the arcades I've visited in my life. We had fun, but I wish there were more games to choose from. Keep in mind that they are closed on Tuesday's, Wednesday's, and Thursday's. read more

Came here on my wife's birthday in June an hour before closing while we were here on vacation. After purchasing a game card for 30$, they closed all game machines down and we were unable to play anything. Didn't even get to spend our money that day. Fast forward to October we came back to town. Went to spend the 30$ and they claim there was only 10$ on there and was only for an hour of play time the day it was purchased. Complete rip off, the lady running the bar/Register is rude ,and treated us like we were trying to scam the place. 0/10 would not recommend. Talked to someone outside of the building and they said this employee has been rude to them too. read more

Really fun place! We spent the night in Lincoln City, and walked by this on our way out to dinner. Looked at each other and said, "Need to check this out in the way back to the hotel!" We were pleasantly surprised. Great selection of pinball machines, which we miss locally. Lots of other games to choose from, as well. The entire facility, including the bathrooms, is very clean. We even thanked the guy who was cleaning the place (didn't get his name), and he said he takes pride in keeping it nice (!). Need more like him. read more

Unfortunately, it was probably about the hottest day of the year at 79 degrees and apparently they don't have A\C. The place was a hot box when you include all the heat being given off by the games. Was also disappointed the machines don't use quarters or tokens. They have instead adopted a system reminiscent of Dave and Busters. However, I have never associated a $2 fee to purchase the card. Being I only wanted to probably play $5 I decided to pay additional $2 on top of that was ridiculous and left. read more

This place absolutely rocks! I am a pinball aficionado, and I've never been to an arcade that keeps such amazing care of their pins. I played at least 10 of them during my visit, and the playfields were all immaculate, rubbers were mostly good (except for the MM remake), and pretty much everything in/on the machines was in working order. I especially like how they buy the really cool toppers for the machines that have them as an option (the topper for the BK machine was especially cool). Will definitely make a point to stop here next time we come ANYWHERE on the Oregon coast! read more

The service is cool, it's a bit noisy so bartenders aren't trying to talk over the games to chat, if they ever do. I like being left alone anyway. 6 stars. I've been to many many arcades and this has to be one of the best I've been to. So if you love games and are in this part of the world , this is a must stop location . This place was really cool with a large variety of games (even some multiplayer ones) to play starting at $0.50 and ranging up to $1.50! They have an ATM but be sure to bring your quarters or cash for change so you don't get an extra charge. Also they had a nice bar at the back of the business incase you'd like to have a drink while your kids play, as well as a few tables for sitting options! No prizes unless you win from one of the claw machine style games, but it was still a fun place to spend an hour or so while in the area! read more

This was the only place available for our time frame. Food was decent. The highlight was the jalapeño pretzel and the munchers. Our drinks didn't all come out together and we were not given utensils to eat with when our food came. Some of the arcade games didn't work. I've been to Game Over's sister location (Level Up) Arcade in Eugene many times. Many years ago I went to Game Over, but recently had a chance to try it out again. By and large, this was a great experience and I'd definitely go here again. My girlfriend and I ventured here recently and stayed for about an hour. I brought $10 worth of quarters and I was pleased with the selection of older games and newer titles. I believe there were about 5 games that I saw that were not working and one of the games ate quarters, but didn't recognize that a quarter was put in. Not the end of the world for me. What I did enjoy was that they had 2 lanes of Skee-ball, a throwing game (knock down the puffy clowns), they had one air hockey table, and even a neat PONG two player table that must use magnets to move the pieces. The PONG game wasn't terribly responsive, but it was a neat idea. They also had Turtles in Time, which is better than the newer TMNT game that Level Up has. The real star is the selection of pinball machines. Level Up has a decent selection, but Game Over has twice as many and they are much better quality. The Star Wars game that shows movie footage and had mini games (that thankfully my girlfriend showed me because I'm terrible at pinball and couldn't get to any of them) that were fun. They have old school machines that look brand new as well as the high tech new machines. Very well done. I didn't get any of the food, so I can't attest to that. They did have a good college basketball game on several of the TVs and most people appeared to be having a very good time. Do I have a preference for Game Over or Level Up? Man, it is close. They both do different things well. Game Over has a more varied selection of games and a better pinball selection. They also have things like Skee-ball, even if there are no tickets to win. Level Up has 4-player Mario Kart, pool tables, more air hockey tables, and more multiplayer games. I like them both and would definitely recommend trying them both out if you have the chance! read more

I decided to come here for the first time after moving here a year ago. It was always on my list of places I wanted to go but now never again. 3 of the 5 games I played were partly broken keeping me from playing them correctly. One didn't even have the advertised games for selection. My wife ordered a pop and pretzel while I was playing and they brought the pop out to her at a table and 23 min passed and she never got her pretzel. I got fed up with the machines asked her how her pretzel was and she said she never got it. Went to the bar to get a refund and the guy tried to give us a pretzel that had been sitting at the end of the bar. I told him no we are leaving we want a refund and he said sorry got on his cell and after a min or so told us his Manager would be down in a min. We sat at the bar waiting for the manager for over 17ish minutes later she was down. Said it took 17 minutes because she was in the middle of dinner upstairs!!! Bar tender checked his phone a few times for us and asked for an update at least once. Kept being told a few more minutes. Turns out it was his 3rd day. Why the hell was he alone so long with how busy it was? He was nice, but day 3 he looked rightfully a bit frazzled, then lost on refunds as he didn't know how to do that yet. Yes, we got refunded, took way too long and a big hassle. read more

I really liked this place and would def come back. Only downside was they needed more. Just more variety of games, bigger menu of drinks. That's it though. Otherwise the price of games was decent I believe we spent 30$ and that got us about 300 credits. Each game is 8 credits avg. So we played for 1 hour and I think still had 100 credits left. So we will have to come back and use them next time were in town. My fav game was the stranger things pinball machine. Was the best pinball machine I ever played. And I won a free game on it. mario kart was fun. Hockey table was hard.. I think the pucks to small for the table.. Basketball was okay. I like that they served alcohol. read more

We came here on a Thursday, and the were closed. We looked up the hours and still showed up, but left with only my son being disappointed that game over was not even opened. Been here several times and loved what was presented. It had the old school vibe, but up to date on games. Will not be coming back here. read more
