Lawn care was consistently delayed and unreliable. I was repeatedly given service dates that were not honored. Terry often told me what I wanted to hear but failed to follow through. The quality of the lawn work itself was subpar at best. The billing process was equally unprofessional--statements were not sent on time, which forced me to pay for multiple services at once. On top of that, I would receive calls from Terry accusing me of not paying, when in fact the issue was the company's failure to invoice in a timely manner. If you expect professionalism, accountability, and quality service, look elsewhere. There are far better lawn care providers in Tillamook. read more

North coast lawn did a wonderful job on a landscaping job of cleaning up, clearing and putting in a gravel path through my yard. The workers were very knowledgeable, patiently walked me through every step and constantly checked in with me to make sure I liked the look. It looks beautiful. I highly recommend North Coast Lawn for any landscaping services! read more

They showed up blasting thumping bass music, not caring who in the apt complex (like me) who works nights and needs a quieter atmosphere. They parked their trailers across every available parking spot, sideways and commenced yelling and loitering around for hours. It seems if they can't run loud machines to get a job done, which at least have the decency of becoming white noise, they have to fill the void with ear shattering, earth shaking "music" and then yelling over the top of it. Hire literally anyone else. read more

Not wanting to be redundant, all I WILL say is that the folks commenting about the absolute rudeness of Terry are spot on. We made a special trip out from Portland to meet with this individual and he never showed up. When I contacted him about a half hour after he was supposed to meet with us he groused that he owned other businesses that had more important issues and also he didn't really want any more clients. Clown. He ought to have told me that when I called to make the appointment. If I could give him a minus ten, I would do so. read more

I just got off the phone with Terry after trying repeatedly to relay to him a request to stop service after we sold our house. I tried multiple emails and voicemails as per his website. I finally got through to him by phone today after North Coast Lawn sent me statements for service that occurred after we sold the house. He denied ever getting the emails or the voicemails and called me a liar. Whatever Terry... All I can say is... DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! read more

We have been paying for "comprehensive yard maintenance" for several months (for which they bill $290 monthly). They only show up once per month, even when we call and request service. The service, when it actually happens, is incredibly subpar. We have called and asked if they have staffing issues, asked them to communicate their schedule, asked for a call back. Nothing. I have spoke with Terry directly, and he is incredibly rude. Talked about it with others in the community, and the company has a reputation for being rude, unreliable, and expensive. Hire literally anyone else. read more

Paid bill monthly - one month got a bill with odd 'past due' amounts which I questioned. Never heard back when called - paid the present amount due and provided proof of payment on previous billings. Eventually just paid the sketchy past due amount to avoid a pissing contest, but owner either closed up or just cut off service without any notification. The work provided was fine - the management not so much. read more

I dealt with Terry Philips (GM) to fix a drainage problem that was going to damage my house. After arranging to meet about the work. He cancelled the day of and said he didn't want to do the work. He left me in a bad spot with water encroaching on my house. This company can not be trusted. I am surprised they are still in business. Who ever the owner is of this company, they should change their management team. read more

Wow. I tried to call, but no answer. Then the website indicated a email address, so I tried that and also their "contact" form as it was unclear what the best way to reach them might be. When someone named Terry called me, I missed the call, called right back and was curtly informed that I tried to contact them in different ways, as if that was a problem and they had already responded via email. Customer service skills are lacking. It isn't hard to say they don't offer the service I was looking for (even though they were recommended by someone who said they did that work). I really wanted to give them my business and was friendly. The rude response was not called for and uncommon in this usually friendly coastal community. Unprofessional. read more

So disappointed in NCL and how they handled my mother. She is hard of hearing and didn't here the doorbell which rang 1/2 hr. early. Not very kind to her later later on the phone. Really disappointing. Wont call in future and my mom was Upset. Boo hiss read more

I have had North Coast Lawn taking care of my yard for a year now. Their crews are hard working and very courteous. The quality of their work is excellent and their pricing is very fair. I highly recommend North Coast Lawn to all. I now live in Bay City, not Longmont, CO. I didn't realize that had not been changed. read more

In a world where Customer Service creates businesses or causes them to go under. I am surprised this company has not gone under yet. Rude owner and terrible service. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

Northcoast was recommended by a friend., I had an overgrown ugly mess. I have used other gardeners in the area and they would weed whack my flowerbeds, not show up.. etc. I called Terry, He came he said he would, he told me how much. They came, 4 gentlemen, they did an amazing job, we're beyond accommodating. They cleaned everything up beautifully. They will be back read more

I would never go with this company. Rude people and they will not return text like the owner said he would. Never got an estimate or a return text the next day to be able to set services up and get an estimate. Not worth time. Very unprofessional. read more
