Great crew, fast response, professional, lowest bidder!…read more Had a very mature Pampas grass that was in the process of becoming a new home for the rats displaced when they demolished one of the single family homes nearby to make way for yet another 6 plex of high-end apartments. I wanted it gone ASAP. I had worked with them previously on staking a tree that had partially blown over during a storm and they were great, but I thought they were just tree guys so I contacted a couple of landscapers for the Pampas grass. After meeting with the first company, I learned this project required heavy machinery so I thought I might as well get rid of the tree of heaven that had come with my house and had grown rather large over 10 years of ownership. The other companies were booked out a minimum of three weeks and quoted me quite a bit higher. NW Tree Work got the Pampas and TOH both out of my yard in less than a week after I first contacted them. Left everything tidy. If you've got projects, get them to quote particularly if you're in NoPo. Great experience, could not more highly recommend them!

We scheduled him and his crew to come out today to do corrective pruning on two of our large Japanese Maple trees. In addition, we decide to have a Blue Spruce and three Dwarf Evergreen trees removed along with an oak stump. It was amazing watching how they cut the tree down and the level of detail - very hard work. They were really easy to work with and even cleaned up our yard after they were done. I felt the pricing was very reasonable and we received a 10% off first time through Angie's List. We plan to work with them again in the Fall to trim 70+ Arborvitae, tighten up the canopy on the Japanese Maples and probably take down our Monterey Pine. I highly recommend them. We have regularly hired a certified arborist and used the same tree service since moving in to prevent winter storm damage and reduce risk of fire. This year, my uphill neighbor asked me to help preserve his view and I was willing so long as the trees remained healthy. The bid I got from my previous arborist was prohibitively expensive, so we called Cody Jepson, a certified Arborist and the company owner, who was highly recommended. Jepson Arbor Specialists offered the best value and the service was outstanding. Cody's adult sons also work in the business, ensuring the work was done safely and to our mutual satisfaction, and left the job site cleaner than when they arrived, carefully hauling out and chipping the branches. They even split the invoice between me and my neighbor which was incredibly convenient. I immediately referred them to another neighbor who had excellent service as well. My highest recommendation to anyone who needs a certified arborist, tree service, or if you should ever have storm damage from trees. They are also referred by HMI, a company that works with insurance agencies when there is damage caused by trees, and Jepson will go above and beyond to tarp your roof as needed during an emergency call. https://www.hmiadvantage.com/member-spotlight-cody-jepson/
