They are happy to help you discover and explore many avenues including increasing success in athletics, public speaking, test taking, and social interactions. Therapy in outdoor settings is also available with some of the therapists. When you arrive you are welcome to make yourself a hot cup of tea and relax on the couches in their waiting room. The therapy rooms I've seen have comfortable seating (set up like a living room) as well as sound machines to ensure your and others privacy. Overall I found my interactions and time here extremely valuable and I've referred a couple of friends here as well. If you are looking for someone outside of your social/family circle to speak to about something or you are simply looking to improve in public speaking/social interactions this is the place for you. * I do want to note that there is a fee scale so be sure to discuss this with your therapist at your first meeting. Taylor then withheld permission for Ashley to schedule my actual intake appointment, pushing my care back two full weeks. For someone seeking mental health support, two weeks is not a minor inconvenience. It can feel like an eternity. What troubles me most is the question this raises: if a facility cannot follow well-established federal disability law, one of the most basic legal protections afforded to people with disabilities, what confidence can patients have that other standards of care are being upheld? A mental health facility should be a place of safety, dignity, and compassion. What I experienced was the opposite. I cannot in good conscience recommend RedPoint to anyone seeking professional mental health care in Longmont.

She's understanding, non-judgemental, intuitive, and will meet you where you're at to develop a plan thats unique to your mental health needs. For me that included traditional medication, but I never felt pressured to take anything. Also she is totally qualified(I noticed another review mentioned a licensing issue, but I was a patient for ~6 years. the only difference from MD I noticed is that you can't have telehealth appointments out-of-state, which is pretty typical, but she can still prescribe meds just like a doctor and has experience.) Getting under her care changed the trajectory of my life for the better. I definitely wouldn't be a functional adult today if she hadn't helped me develop the skills to get out of a dark place and stay focused on goals. Never had any issues with her booking schedule or med refills. Amazing, 10/10, can not say enough good things! :) Edit: I have bipolar and ADHD and made great progress learning to manage these conditions. :)

She supervised herself according to official records, so I wonder how she became a psychiatric nurse or a nurse practitioner. What you expect and need from healthcare is transparency and honesty. Sarah doesn't seem to have had any mental health official training, yet is passing herself off as a quasi-psychologist and a psychiatrist. I was told by a referring nurse practitioner that she was a psychiatrist, with requires and MD and years of additional training. This woman is barely a nurse. I think Nurse practitioners, which I always thought needed additional medical training have created a cottage industry and refer each-other. I'm always suspicious of anyone who doesn't allow reviews online too.

Because this fell just short of her strict '48-business-hour' window, she rigidly enforced her contract and charged my card for the full session. She had been in the mountains with her phone off all weekend, so instead of having a conversation with me on Monday morning or offering me the chance to still come in, she simply hit my card. ​When I reached out to point out the glaring double standard between her 35-minute cancellation and my Friday evening text, she hid behind her contract and completely ignored her own misstep. ​Therapy and hypnosis require trust. Contracts and boundaries are necessary, but a purely one-sided, transactional approach that happily takes a client's grace but refuses to offer any in return is a terrible way to do business.
