The quality of these people can improve highly. We got into a car accident Dec 4th ( a drunk driver hit us) The tow company ignored Allstate insurance for the entire week. When my insurance got ahold of them they told them to come out. Allstate came out to transfer the truck they were no where to be found even though they gave them a time. Not one soul. The driver to pick up my truck waiting over 2 hours and left. Now as of Dec 10th they received the bill of over $3,000 of charges for the hold on my truck. MIND YOU, I need a vehicle. Mine was totaled. These guys take their SWEET time and try and suck you dry. I'm SURE Allstate will come after them for a stunt like this and since my door to the truck was unlocked, but no keys for the driver, I too, will be doing the same. Shame on this company. They charged me for 20 extra miles on my AAA tow, even though I only went 13 miles over the 100 miles covered by AAA. I guess they have to make their overhead somewhere. Went through AAA roadside. NB towing responded to the request and said it would be 40 min. After an hour of waiting, I called the roadside assistance. They called the company and said it will be added little longer. I called NB towing directly and they informed me it would be hours even though they told AAARoadside it would be less than an hour. North bend towing never came. They left me stranded with my car that I was unable to move on a busy road. Halfway sticking out into the lane because of no shoulder. They left me and my vehicle in dangerous situation and continued to lie so they could get the job but never showed up. Caused me a huge amount of stress on top of a nightmare situation. read more

My husband was in safeway, north bend parking lot and could not get his truck started. He must not of had his cellphone and called from the store....left home number and I had no idea what was happening when Bob from NB towing called me, looking for him. My husband has some dementia and BOB was so very kind and was able to get his truck started after searching for him in parking lot. I have had to be towed a few times the last couple of years. I have AAA and the tow company they've sent has always been North Bend Towing. The truck driver has been Ricky and every time he has been very professional, taking care of my vehicle when loading and unloading. Truly an amazing person to deal with. This last time my rig was on top of a very steep driveway and he took his time and even went and got a smaller tow truck to be able to take it to the shop. Even if I didn't have AAA I will always use North Bend Towing and I'll happily recommend them to anyone that needs a tow. read more

North Bend Towing was sent to tow us back to Morin's Auto Repair (also a great place). Ricky was there within minutes. He was very friendly and before putting our van on the trailer, he looked under the hood and suspected a hose problem rather than the engine which was a huge relief for $ reasons. We chatted all the way back to Coos Bay. Sure enough, he was right. A hose connector was all we needed. We were back on the road in a very timely manner. They were dispatched for a AAA tow and refused to tow because my tags were expired. I showed the driver the new plates with current tags and he didn't believe me, so I showed him the title. He also didn't want to tow it because traffic on our residential street might not see him when they crest our small hill. This was a Monday morning on a quiet street with virtually no traffic and there is no way anyone could miss a big tow truck backing up into my driveway. When I told him that North Bend Towing sucks, not him, just the company he works for, he got in his truck and left without a word. I called AAA to tell them he had left and when AAA called NB Towing and identified themselves as calling from AAA, NB Towing put them on hold without a word and never came back on the phone. I used roadside assistance through my insurance company and this guy showed up being rude from the very start. I didn't have a jack in my car as I had just purchased the vehicle not long ago and he made me feel like I was the dumbest person alive. He clearly didn't want to do the job. He literally asked me what I was going to do if he didn't do it and I told him I'd call someone else to which he replied "there is no one else to help you". Called AAA for a tow at 7:30 am. Was given a time that North Bend tow would be there around 8:45. At 9:00 I hadn't heard from anyone so I called AAA back. They said yes N B tow is on their way now. I even had a supervisor call me to confirm that she talked to the driver and yes they were on the way. At 10:30 I still hadn't heard from anyone, so I called AAA again and this time they said yes North bend tow was on the way but they decided to stop in Coquille and jump a vehicle first. It's now 11 and I haven't heard anything, but how messed up is it that they stopped at another job just bc it was on the way!!!! I am very unhappy and very late for work. AAA agent said she spoke to the manager at the tow place and said they were short staffed, but that doesn't excuse skipping us over just bc there was an easy job there. Very unhappy about the customer service and reliability of this toe company. Never had a problem with any other tow companies in this area! I had to have my car towed to the dealer. It was parked in the garage and difficult to get it out because it wouldn't start and the steering wheel locked. Wayne did everything he could first to try to get it started. I recently lost my husband of 43 years and was a bit frazzled as he was the one who always handled these types of things and I was missing him. I own a business in Coos Bay. Our parking lot is posted and the signage states parking is only for our customers and others will be towed. Today there was a tow truck with a big glatbed in our lot. The motor was running and no driver was anywhere. I called North Bend towing to ask that truck be moved. I spoke with a very courteous man. A few minutes later I was called back bt Tina, office manager perhaps. I told her same thing and she told me: if I was unhappy I should call another towing company to have their truck removed and called me a b*t*h! She hung up but a few minutes later I received a call from a restricted number and when I answered I again was sworn at and called vile names. I have never observed such unprofessional behavior. Tina called us and told us they weren't going to touch our car because we requested Mast towing and she was tired of competing with them. She was incredibly unprofessional and rude for no reason. She was upset with us for requesting a different tow company. We know nothing of the competition in the towing world and it was unfair of her to get upset with us over something we had no knowledge of. My experience with NB Towing was not as good as the top positive reviews! In fact, if you scroll down and read the negative reviews, they are a much more accurate account, of my experience with NB Towing! Talking to the dispatcher and owner Tina, was a complete test of patience! She cut me off. She was stern, impatient and flat out RUDE! I tried to give her all my S.F. Insurance information. She claimed it was unacceptable. She forcefully told me that my agent had to personally call her to verify my account. When I tried to ask a question she cut me off again, arguing with me. I called my agent explaining, that Tina needed her to verify my account. She called Tina. However, Tina didn't accept my agents request insisting that I had to call the 1-800 number on the back of my card. My agent called me back, saying we will find another towing company to take care of my situation. She also said that the lady was very rude and didn't seem to care if she got any business or not! She recommended MAST TOWING! AND WITH ONE CALL MAST WAS ON THEIR WAY TO MY HOME. The driver was courteous, and very professional, with a wealth of information to make my situation easier! I really don't know what has happened with our public relations now days! It seems very hard to find courteous help anymore! From Banks, Doctors, Retail stores, Grocery checkers! etc. It's a shame and I miss being able to have a decent conversation, where you feel like, where you're spending your hard earned money, is appreciated! I will never do business with this company! EVER! But I would highly recommend Mast Towing! All as you have to do is personally call them! They care! BTW. I called AAA for what I thought was a dead battery or an alternator issue for a vehicle I was borrowing. Bob came through and helped us uncover that the battery simply needed a little cleaning because of corrosion. Terrible communication. We broke down 24 miles from them, just south of North Bend. Called them when we first found out they were the tow company our insurance used, they told us they had contacted the driver. Now when I spoke with my insurance I requested a flatbed as any VW bus driver would. Was told by insurance it would be between 88 and 108 minutes. 2 hours later I call them and they tell me they don't have a flatbed available. Why did the tow company not contact us and tell us that? I ended up just paying for towing from Mast Towing 3 hours later. Miserable experience waiting on the side of Hwy 101. But Mast Towing was on time and got us towed to Bug Germanators. read more

Horrible service! Our truck broke down in my mother's driveway, so I called OnStar since they are programed into the truck, they helped us schedule a tow. We were told it would be towed at 7:30 pm. Not a problem since it's in my mother's driveway. I took a taxi home after paying for the tow and waited for the tow truck. The whole time, I was receiving texts about my tow. It's only an hour drive to my house. When it started getting late and still no tow truck, we called the tow provider according to the texts. (North bend towing LLC) they were rude and said they had no tow requests, when we explained we had texts proving it, he got even ruder. We hung and called OnStar again, they talked to North bend towing and the tow company lied and said they couldn't tow because it was an unsupervised vehicle and it was late. So they gave us 2 different stories and we had to pay twice for our vehicle to finally get towed. Definitely not worth anything! Don't use this company! read more
