It's a…read moregreat spot for kids since it's very interactive and packed with a variety of activities to keep them engaged. From building stations to interactive rides and play zones, there's plenty to do and explore, especially for younger LEGO fans. The space is colorful, energetic, and well-designed for kids to use their imagination and burn off some energy. Staff were friendly and the experience felt well-organized overall. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 mainly because it can get pretty crowded at times, and some areas felt a bit rushed when it was busy. Still, it's a solid option for a family outing, especially on a rainy day or when you're looking for something different to do with kids.

The front desk staff who sold us our tickets were not very friendly, and although we saw a couple of staff members inside, they didn't engage with guests at all. When you asked questions they acted like we were bothering them. I had read online that this was a good place for toddlers, but we didn't even stay for an hour. The toddler Duplo area was small and many of the pieces were missing, which made it hard for kids to really play. The ride was also a bit scary for our 3-year-old. We didn't experience the movie or Bank game (both geared towards an older age). There was a small indoor play area, but it also seemed better suited for slightly older kids. My son stayed on that for 5 minutes since we couldn't guide him through (children only). Overall, I think this attraction would be much more enjoyable for kids around ages 5-7. Stars were knocked off due to the staff.

On 8 May 1999 I heard advertisements for The Joker's Jinx . I remember I didn't like the ads for the ride, but I knew I would certainly ride this ride. The day I went to the park, I rode many rides, because I know the line for this ride would be long no matter what time I went. When I finally arrived to the ride, the line was long, but there were refreshments for those in line. The lemonade hit the spot and I had plenty of time before I rode the ride to get the fluid into my system. When I saw the paint job for the Joker, I never thought emerald green and purple went well together, BUT THEY DO. Oh, I was young back then. I even bought a Joker's Jinx tee shirt. At that time I wore a large tee shirt. I don't remember what happened to the shirt, but I know I through...no...I believe I gave it to good will. When I finally got to the gated area, you had to pass by several mirrors that made you look distorted. For my first experience I went straight to the back where I had to wait a little longer. Why, because the rear is tighter? Because I like it in the rear? Or because the rear of the car is the fastest. This answer is the best answer. The front is the slowest, but the rear end gets pushed forwards because of the force of the front of the car. The middle seats are a natural point. In this case since it is a blast coaster it pretty much doesn't matter until you feel the rear end of the car moving faster from the pulling of the rest of the cars. The spiraling looks to the side way turns make this rollercoaster a lot of fun. Listening to one of the operator say "Hands Up, hands up, I wanna see your hands." Once everyone's hands were up, he would hit the go button and everyone in the coaster cars would shoot forwards. I would love to say The Joker's Jinx started the blast coasters craze, but it wouldn't be true. Still, I had a lot of fun. This ride is a steel ride and steel rides have been know to be smoother than the wooden rollercoasters. I wouldn't mind going on this ride again. I would call this a high thrill ride.

They've got the must haves of a water park - lazy river, wave pool, water spray ground, and water slides. They've also got a few extras that you don't see at every water park, like a few 4 person float rides, a half pipe tube ride with a very steep drop, and a roller coaster type water ride that goes up and down. My 48 inch tall daughter was able to go on every ride but my 46 inch tall son could only go on about half of the rides, so my only caveat is that 48 inches seems to be the magic number. That said, my son would've had a lot of fun on the rides he could go on, as well as the universal ones like the lazy river and spray grounds. If you get a season pass to 6 Flags and compare it to the cost of a day pass at a county water park, this is a great deal (plus you get an amusement park too)!

It's just a short easy walk through a residential area from the Woodley Park Metro station to the zoo entrance. Admission is free, but be sure to get a pass with a QR code for the day you plan to visit. If you don't have one you'll have to go online and get one for them to scan at the gate. The zoo is MUCH bigger than I thought and even with part closed for renovations, I spent 3 hours wandering around enjoying the animals and atmosphere. The pandas are adorable and on a Tuesday afternoon there were no crowds so I had the luxury of being able to just hang out for awhile. That said there is a ton more here than just the pandas. The elephants are amazing and there are just a lot of lesser seen animals in really nice habitats. The layout involves a lot of winding paths so pay attention or you'll get turned around and might find you've gone in a circle (don't ask me how I know ). There are a lot of indoor exhibits too, so this could still be a place to visit on a sketchy weather day. Food and beverage prices are less than at most zoos and are in line with other Smithsonian sites. So happy I finally made it here and will need to return on future trips.

It was fun to observe them playing and gnawing on bamboo during our visit there. Otherwise I have to confess to being a little lukewarm on the zoo. The location on a steep hill made it kind of hard to navigate, and I found that the layout was a bit like a labyrinth in a few spots. Several exhibits were also closed while we were there, which was disappointing. It's still worth spending an afternoon going through if your schedule allows.

Today is Sunday and the amount of people was a decent portion of people. We attended a company event where they catered food/alcoholic beverages and Ice cream. We sat in the picnic area to eat and the food was pretty good. The pulled pork and chicken was good! We came in at 1:30pm and there wasn't a long line for the rides. (I wish we took advantage of that but we started riding around 3:30pm and the lines became a 25 min wait for the roller coasters and mini karts. The inside arcade area reminds me of Dave and busters. They have a fun pass but you cannot redeem tickets it's only for the games. The selection of games inside was ok. Once we went around a few times the kids wanted to go back outside to do something else. That is pretty cool you have the option to do both. They have the bumper carts inside and that was fun. Some rides did not have a staff member to assist which was kind of weird, but when we walked away from the slide the guy showed up. He could have been working on another ride? There are two large roller coaster and the yellow one had the longest wait time because it's only one cart that holds 2-4 people per ride! If you see no line? Get on that first! Lol Parking? Wasn't an issue. The pricing seems pretty steep for what you get. I might come back here! My kids had a good time. And the staff were nice too!

I had an hour to waste today, so I came in to play a few arcade games. I was hoping I'd be able to relive some of the nostalgia from a decade ago. I didn't visit the outside section of the park, only the arcade. To say that this place has went downhill is an understatement. Literally everything is broken. There's maybe 60 arcade games and 40 of them are broken. Of the remaining 20, many of them are prize games that aren't stocked or have missing pieces. I wanted to leave after about 10 minutes, but I figured I would use the rest of my credits first. I bought the minimum amount which was $25, and they give you an additional $5. I was walking around looking for anything I could play. I saw the basketball game only had 2 basketballs, which is a little unfortunate, but I decided to try it anyway. I scan my card, the machine takes my money, and the game doesn't start. This happened to me on maybe 6 different games. I even witnessed a game shutdown in the middle of someone playing it. I was amazed. Nearly every game is out of order. I'm certain I could have went to the front desk and got refunded for the credits I spent on games that didn't work, but what's the point? What game was I going to spend those credits on? Nothing works. I ended up playing the milk jug toss game about 15 times until I ran out of credits. Shortly after, I went to the ticket redemption counter. I had roughly 400 tickets. For reference, a full size candy bar is 500 tickets. There was one girl working the front desk/ticket redemption area, but she was busy answering the phone. I waited for about few minutes before deciding there was nothing worth spending the tickets on. I ended up tossing the card in the trash and driving home. I felt really empty. The lack of employees and lack of attention (or care) to broken machines is pretty upsetting. Until this place fixes these things, it's not worth your time or money.
