The practice was closed for vacation and renovations and I ended up with a horrific infection and tooth broken in half, fever, miserable . He texted right back and sent in a prescription for an antibiotic and saw me the next morning. He X-ray'd my mouth found the problem, called around found an oral surgeon with an emergency appointment and I had the tooth extracted an hour later. Something to note, Dr Amidon was going through a person loss that was happening at the same time yet took the time to see me. The office staff is terrific and accommodating and for someone like me (who doesn't enjoy dental procedures) it helps that they are all so kind and patient. Easy to get to, COV safe and easy parking. They are very caring.

This dental practice is a scam who takes advantage of patients. They will charge you up front with…read moreout of network prices without even sending in your claims. They refuse to accept the fees they are contracted in. network for! My explanation of benefits stated that I was only supposed to pay $30 and they charged me $140. When I asked about where the difference in that money is they said they applied it as a credit towards future services. Who authorized them to do that ? That should've been sent to me in a refund, I had not been there for six months and they were withholding that money from me, unbeknownst to me until I saw the EOB! That refused to refund me and applied it towards another bill that they never sent to my dental insurance without my knowledge. They keep billing me for $600 that I don't owe, emailing me and calling. They owe me money! My dental insurance has yet to see the claim two years later! I have spoken to their office staff numerous times and every time I'm told the claim was submitted and it has not been. T They think I am stupid but I worked for a dental insurance company in the claims dept for years! I should have known better and kick myself! I should have walked out when they came in asking me for my payment while in the chair with my mouth being worked on, but it was an emergency during the pandemic and I am kicking myself , believe me. They keep purposely not sending the claim in because they know they are contracted to accept in network fees and they don't want to. They trick people! Check your EOB's people. They are scammers and frauds. The dentist also told me he was just going to file my crown to see if it helped my pain and he filed my entire too and bottom back teeth and ruined my crown, my healthy teeth are now smooth with no bite texture at all which affects my chewing. I requested a refund of the $250 consultation charge and was told in writing that "The consultation fee is for the exam, diagnosis and treatment plan I gave you regardless of whether you or I choose to go ahead." I walked back to the hotel with my wife and set about looking for someone local who might be able to see me right away. She called Lee's number, and he picked up (!!) and they set an appointment for me for just one hour later. I drove down to Wells (only a few minutes away) to visit his offices. Lee saw me nearly right away. He set my mind at ease, sanded down my broken tooth very quickly so that it was no longer so sharp, and then let me decide to have him do the full repair, or wait for my guy back in California to do it. I opted to have my local dentist take care of it once I got home (just in case I needed additional care), but I really appreciated Lee's easygoing manner and his concern over ~my~ worries and ~my~ well being instead of the interruption to his schedule. I left there just a few minutes later feeling a whole heckuva lot better. Only a true professional can make you feel this way in so little time. Many thanks. GETTING DENTURES FROM THIS DENTIST IS A NIGHTMARE…read more Last year, in August 2025, I found this dentist online and the reviews looked great. I called to make an appointment for a cleaning and to get partial dentures for my top and bottom teeth, and I agreed to move forward. By the end of September, the dentures were ready. But when I tried them, they didn't fit at all, especially the bottom ones. The dentist told me to try them for a week and come back if they still didn't fit. After a week, I went back because they were painful to put in and take out. The dentist ASSURED me a new set would be made at no extra cost. But then... nothing. I waited until December and called, they said the doctor would call me. A week later, I called again and got the same response: "The doctor will call you back." Weeks went by, and still no one contacted me. I called multiple times, and every time, I received the same empty promise. I've already paid $1,500 out of pocket, and my insurance covered $3,000. And now, in January 2026, I STILL don't have my dentures, and no one has reached out. I am beyond frustrated and do NOT recommend this place.
