This has to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced - anywhere…read more We used a Groupon offer in July 2012. We had a great time getting our makeup done and the photographer was great. We didn't get the bubbly promised in our offer but didn't stress about that. We were then asked for a ridiculous amount of money for prints. As the photos were great I decided to buy two in addition to the one I got in my deal. We were told this would take 6-8 weeks. Very disappointing. After almost three months, still no photos. When finally someone returned my call (after many voicemails and emails) I was told that they had been posted and must have gotten lost. I asked for them to be resent. I was promised that this would be done within a week and tracked by Royal Mail. After a further week, my photos still had not arrived. I chased them up again and received my free print. After a few more weeks of chasing emails and calls, I got one of the prints that I paid for. Now almost six months later and many, many emails and voicemails, I STILL DO NOT have my second photo for which I have paid. No word from them at all! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE - go elsewhere.

I have to strongly agree with the review below…read more Me and a friend both bought the Groupon deal online a few months ago. After a lot of hassle trying to get an appointment we finally went a few weeks ago. On the actual day of the shoot we were very happy with our hair and make up and the whole experience in general. After we had all the photos taken we were told we had to come back in a weeks time to view the photos. We said to them that we had only really came for a girls day out and would only be taking the one 'free' picture and we didn't mind just seeing them that day and choosing one. They insisted that we come back next week after they had had time to edit them and fix them up so we said okay. We then returned a week later given a glass of cava and shown our photo slideshows. The guy who had edited the pictures and one of the photographers were with us at the viewing. Both seemed very nice and were complimentary of our photos. After we asked how much it would be to get an extra picture we were told it would be our £30 deposit PLUS another £95 EACH! We kindly declined and were made to feel like we had to make excuses as to why we didn't want to spend that kind of money. Bearing in mind that we had originally paid £15 each for the whole experience...a good deal but now you're getting made to feel horrible and awkward for it. The guy showing us the photos then said to pick our favourites and put them in a folder, I narrowed mine down to nine and my friend down to eleven. He then asked if we wanted him to see what deal we could get it we wanted all those photos, we said it was up to him and it would need to be a VERY good deal. He came back with an offer of £300...we again politely declined. This is when EVERYTHING changed. His whole attitude became quite aggressive and extremely unpleasant. He acted like we had caused him so much hassle and rushed us to pick our one 'free' picture. I then asked about getting my £60 deposit back, he wrote the number for head office on a piece of paper, chucked it at me and ushered us out the door. I phoned head office to try and get the deposits back, I let them know that I had booked two appointments and required £60 back. Okay no problem they said will take five days. Over a week later I phoned back and they said they had put the £30 back into my account to which I replied no, they hadn't and it was 60! not 30! they were to put in. They said okay we're putting it in now...I'm still waiting and deeply upset and angry about how much stress this is causing me. Overall I cannot believe how much hassle it is to get my own money back! and secondly why the hell would a company offer a Groupon deal if you're then made to feel like you're ripping them off by not spending hundreds of pounds on a picture!?!? It'll also take 8 weeks to get our picture through the post, still don't get why they couldn't just press print on the computer but anyway we won't be holding our breath. I doubt we will ever see those pictures that shocker we actually did pay for as part of the Groupon deal offered. Horrible company, DO NOT USE!

HOW HAVE YOU SENT ME BACK THE SAME BROKEN PAIR!!!!…read more WTF IS GOING ON?!!! I've come home to my neighbour giving me back the same box with the same BROKEN PAIR that I sent back to you yesterday!!!! How is this actually possible!?!?????? I've now redacted all information on the box except for the DPD delivery number so they have no chance of getting confused. That's the only thing I can possibly imagine has happened... Despite it having their bloody sticker with a new barcode on the front! Could you please, PLEASE just send ANOTHER person to collect this stupid broken pair of binoculars again. This is such a waste of time, not just mine but everyone involved. So much petrol used for nothing... Waste is the key word here and me and my fiancé are actually so disappointed. Worst gift ever in my honest opinion, never had so much stress over something so simple. Just gimme a full refund tbh, I can't be bothered anymore. You win Jessop's, we'll tbf there are no winners here at all. Especially not my fiancé who's honestly had the most shambles of a gift ever. I've included some more pictures and video to show me proving it's the same broken pair. The same pair that doesn't zoom, has a ripped open part of the case, and a completely detached right lens (which I have since screwed back in as it was easier to repackage) HERE's MY ACTUAL REVIEW: My body physically aches, especially my neck with the amount of facepalming, pacing, stress, and anger I've had to deal with because of this crappy company. Worst gift giving experience of my entire life so far. Long story short, DON'T ever buy anything online from Jessop's. Ordered before Christmas, it's now been nearly a month since I ordered and it's ARRIVED DAMAGED, then returned BROKEN IN HALF, then the same broken pair was sent back to me, then sent away and made it way back to me for a third time. Still no response from either Csjessops.com or csresolutionsjessops.com outraged by the amount of time I've had wasted, a 7am-5pm collection slot (4 separate occasions now) for a pair of binoculars that arrived broken in half. Also Ive still been left in the dark with regards to what the solution is, I keep only getting umms and arrs about what they should do coz this is clearly such a massive fk up. I just want either a new pair or a refund and it's still such a struggle for them to even approve that and let me know what the outcome is. Nobody knows how to resolve this problem because not a soul has even tried to send me a new pair yet. They won't send you the goods you've ordered UNTIL they receive the broken goods back, now normally this would make sense, especially if the product can be resold or refurbished. The pair I received couldn't even zoom in, the zoom arm was completely jammed and the focus was never syncing... It's almost like one of the lens has been completely detached and forcibly been put back together again. It also came to me in a box labeled KITE PACKAGING.CO.UK so I know it was some other users broken pair that was sent back too, how the fk it ended up at my house, not once, not twice but three times due to Jessop's and DPD being incapable of delivery services. If you like being left in the dark, receiving countless broken or completly destroyed food then Jessop's is the place for you. Just make sure you take some Kalms or summin before you try and sort anything out with them. It WILL be a very stressful experience. Good luck. Oh, and wish me luck too! Haha ‍

She'd taken it out of the loft that morning, and it was covered in dust and dirt. I took it and headed into Jessops on Sauchiehall Street. The member of staff I dealt with was really helpful, and was completely understanding when I explained what I wanted. He didn't even flinch a the sight of the old camera, and tactfully pretended not to notice the dust. He found new batteries and a new film and even tested the whole thing out for me. I left ten minutes later with the camera working. So yes, Jessops might not be the cheapest camera shop - but I think the service more than makes up for this.
