After four days of back and forth, it's clear they have no intention of taking accountability for what I believe was a significant oversight during our home inspection. We hired CalPro to perform our home, sewer, and pest inspections before purchasing our home. After closing, we began noticing a burning smell coming from the electrical panel outside. I had four different electrical companies inspect it, and every one of them immediately said the panel needs to be replaced. They explained that it is a Zinsco panel, which is widely known in the electrical and insurance industries for its safety concerns and is often considered uninsurable or in need of replacement. When I reviewed our home inspection report, I was surprised to find there was no mention that the electrical panel was a Zinsco panel. The report included photos of the panel but no notation identifying it or recommending further evaluation or replacement. Although I wasn't able to be present for the entire inspection, my realtor was. During the inspection, the inspector identified the panel as Zinsco and told my realtor that because the breakers had been updated, it wasn't a safety concern. When we later questioned why the report didn't mention the panel, he repeated the same explanation during a phone call and suggested the electricians were simply trying to sell us a new panel. Had the report identified the panel and its potential implications, I would have had the opportunity to negotiate with the sellers before closing. Instead, I'm now facing an unexpected $5,000 expense. I contacted CalPro to give them the opportunity to address the situation. Their response was that the inspector was unaware the panel was a Zinsco panel. That directly conflicts with what my realtor was told during both the inspection and the follow-up phone call. Rather than acknowledging the discrepancy or investigating what happened, the company stood by that explanation. I also forwarded the email correspondence to the owner. The office staff told me she was "aware of the issue" but "not always available by email." Everyone makes mistakes. What separates a good company from a bad one is how they handle them. Unfortunately, based on my experience, CalPro chose to deny responsibility instead of addressing a serious issue that has left us with a substantial unexpected expense. Since CalPro has chosen not to take responsibility for this issue, I am now being forced to spend additional time and money to resolve it through the court system.

Once I replaced the tankless water heater, I had to deal with the residual damage from the water. The insurance folks sent out a demo team to take all the damaged wall/ ceiling and mold out. The insurance gave my Contact info to a Renovation company they use and said that they would call me. After a couple of days, I did not hear anything so I researched and found these guys on Yelp. They came out the same day provided a quote and I feel that their prices were reasonable. The insurance had already paid me out for what they guesstimated the cost of repairing everything ( i didn't tell them how much I was paid out) and it was comparable to what they quoted me. Although they said if their quote was more, they had no problem going back to the insurance folks to deal with them in regards to more money to do the project. Thankfully, we didn't need to do that. However, I thought that was important to mention because I didn't realize that a lot of people do not want to deal with insurance companies. I was turned away a couple of times when I was trying to find somebody to Replace the water heater and I needed them To provide information to the insurance company. These guys came in and we're so quick and efficient. I had a partial ceiling missing in my living room and in my garage. The wall that separated my living room and garage were missing. They Did the sheet rock,installation, crown molding, painted, Mounted all my cabinets and hooked back up my washer and dryer and sink in a few days! I'm definitely recommending them to friends and family.

Thats what was in my bathroom when he finished. Doesn't look clear to me, now I am no plumber or septic pro, but come on. They offered a good faith refund of 100. I'm confused they said if it didn't work it would be a 250 refund not 100. Do not use! Do not recommend! Rip off!!! Zero stars.If you are not a plumber then you should not say I will clear the line for an additional 250 and if it doesn't work I won't charge you. The right thing to do would be to say you need a regular plumber if you couldn't do what I needed. Not charge me almost 1000 dollars to not fix the problem I wanted addressed. We talked on the phone also got bombarded by you and your wife via text. There is nothing more to talk about maybe you will be better and more clear and concise or just do the right thing and refund the 250.
