The owner threats his employees like trash! Yells at them in front of his co-workers, has illegal immigrants working for him and I we learned he makes all his employees work six days a week or otherwise you are fire. Womack thinks he owns this town, plus we see him drive down the peninsula about 35-40 miles on a 25 mile zone. I guess he thinks he is better than all around here. Plus we learned that he likes to steal jobs from other contractors by talking bad about them, I think he is cousins with Gavin Newsom if you know what I mean. We will not recommend plus after the job is done he disappears, voicemails or any form of contact is gone to the cemetery

I called Thompson Peak Construction after several other contractors did not return my calls for a…read moreleaking picture window that was causing water damage to the framing around the window and to the interior of the house as well. I wish I had called him first!!! Tucker called me back right away and showed up promptly to look at the project. He recognized its urgency and made room in his schedule to get to it sooner than later. His work appears to be high quality - when he removed the window, he was able to push on the wall and it would move a good 3 inches. He addressed the water damage, then reinforced the wall before putting in the new window - the wall is rock solid now. He is respectful of the needs of the homeowner. He mitigates construction dust as much as possible and cleans up after the job. He communicates well, giving you information and options so you can make decisions that work for you. He shows up when he says he will, or contacts you if he needs to make any changes. I will be using Thompson Peak Construction exclusively for my home improvement and repair projects going forward.

We needed a professional painting contractor to paint the exterior of our family's historic cabin…read moreand outbuildings. It hadn't been painted in many years and was in need of a lot of prep work. The job was complicated by its remote location in the mountains down a 7-mile-long gravel road, it being off the grid, and my needing to manage the job from my home in Oregon 8 hours away. Needless to say, we were having trouble finding a high-quality painting contractor willing to take on the job. Then I found Ken Bailey. We discussed the job over the phone, I provided him with photos and dimensions, and he gave a verbal quote. With my encouragement, he took the time to visit the cabin in person to fine-tune his bid. I wanted to make sure that he knew what he was getting into. I checked his references and they were great, so we selected him. He was able to start the job not long thereafter, and it was an absolute pleasure working with him. He provided multiple options for the paint job to meet our specific needs and budget and provided recommendations given our unique circumstances (the lower half of the cabin is buried under the snowpack every winter). He helped us to match the existing paint color, texting me photos of colors and express mailing me swatches of the final color samples. He did a great job prepping and painting the cabin, and he sent me daily photos and regular videos of progress, and texted or called regarding any questions that came up. His communication was excellent throughout the project. The original wood cabin windows are in poor condition, but he came up with multiple solutions for appropriate coatings for them and talked me through the pros and cons of the various options to help me make a good decision for the best solution to help preserve their historic look while protecting them from the harsh mountain weather. He was even willing to paint a few extras (outdoor furniture and the like). At the project completion, he sent me detailed videos for my approval. I would hire him again without hesitation.

I recently had a slow drain in my home and called a well known plumbing company in our area. It…read morequickly became obvious our septic needed pumping, and shortly thereafter the plumber also reported we needed a new leach field. Knowing leach fields are expensive I felt it prudent to request proposals from several respected contractors in our area. Greg Lopez was one of the contractors I called. The proposals came in from everyone except Greg. He said he would prefer to first excavate to the junction box of the leach field to confirm the leach field actually needed to be replaced. Apparently the plumber may have prematurely diagnosed the death of our leach field. I'm sure some of you reading this will think it foolish to request several proposals, and then allow the one contractor who had yet to give me a proposal, begin work. But what Greg was saying made sense, and my husband and I instinctively trusted him. Within minutes of the excavation Greg found the line leading from the septic tank to the leach field was choked with tree roots, and partially collapsed. He quickly replaced the line, installed a new junction box, and tested our existing leach field. The lines were leaching beautifully! We did not need a new leach field after all. Greg saved us thousands of dollars and I think he was as happy about that as we were. Greg is a knowledgeable, honest contractor, and if you're ever looking for a contractor to help you with your project, you would be wise to make Greg your first call.
