The atmosphere was calm and respectful, and the staff was wonderful. Helen did my scrub and did an excellent job (on the harsher side, which I loved). The only thing missing is food options -- hope they add some in the future.

My husband loved it. The massages are a little rough, so I asked for them to be a little softer. But, I'm kinda a baby with massages, like I don't book deep tissue type of massages. The masseuse went on top of my back on all fours lol. I started laughing when she did that, she started to giggle too. I told my husband she was so petite I didn't mind it. The spa areas were very clean and aesthetically pleasing. I didn't bring a bathing suit, so I couldn't use the co-ed area which looked so peaceful and relaxing. The spa offered shorts for men, so my husband utilized the co-ed hot tubs. He said he was the only person in the co-ed area and men's side. In the women's area, where they had the hit tubs, women are nude. So, it's a little stressful at first because I never been to a spa where people are nude. But, I eventually got comfortable and enjoyed the hot tubs. The women's are that had the clay room, salt room, and sauna required robes. That area was so relaxing. The clay area was my favorite.

It was actually my second time here, though it had been a few years since I came last. I'm happy to report I loved it just as much the second time! The service included: - A soak in a copper tub, complete with a private room, rose petals strewn everywhere, candles, a glass of champagne and a cupcake - A full body scrub, personal shower and body melt - A 60-minute massage, customized to you with essentials oils and pressure I loved my experience from start to finish! The spa is also well appointed with plenty of towels, secure lockers in the locker room, and a lounge with various flavored waters, teas, and comfy lounge chairs. The one issue here is parking -- there are only 4 spots in front which are taken quickly and are hard to get in and out of. I ubered so I wouldn't have to deal with that. If you're looking for a spa with excellent treatments and the chance to feel fully pampered, I definitely recommend checking out Larchmont Sanctuary Spa!

However, an employee named Minwoo stepped in to help, and he really stood out. He seemed like a manager, not necessarily by title, but because he was noticeably more professional and kind than the other front desk staff. He carefully went over each of my reserved services and explained how to prepare and where to go in a very clear and easy-to-understand way. It made the whole experience much smoother, especially for a first-time visit. After using the sauna, I spent time in the co-ed jimjilbang area, which had a relaxing and authentic atmosphere. I also received a skincare treatment and an acupressure service, and both were very satisfying. Later, I had a meal at the restaurant with friends, and we went up to the rooftop to get some fresh air. The patio area was nicely set up, and the cool breeze made it a perfect place to relax and unwind. Overall, it was a very solid experience, and I would definitely come back, just maybe during a less busy time.

I love how many different sauna rooms they have--each one has its own vibe, from super hot and detoxifying to calm and relaxing. It's easy to spend hours just rotating between them, soaking, and cooling off without ever getting bored. The hot baths are especially amazing after a long day. Everything is kept really clean, and the space feels well taken care of, which makes a huge difference when you're trying to relax. The vibe is lowkey and peaceful, not pretentious at all. Also, don't skip the food. Eating Korean comfort food in a robe after sweating it out just hits different. Shoutout to Minu as well--super kind and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. Perfect spot for a solo reset day or even a chill hang with friends. I always leave feeling refreshed, lighter, and way less stressed. Definitely worth it.

I researched several spas, reached out to a couple, but Jana with Lotus Home was by far the most communicative. She responded to my emails with questions quickly. she took care of all the planning since decor is not my strong suit, and I didn't want my wife to have to think about anything. Jana put together a schedule where everyone got their treatments at the same times, so they were able to also relax and enjoy the facility together. When the car dropped my wife and her friends back off at my house, you could see how relaxed all of them were, just in their faces and bodies. I've heard from them all that the service and experience was next level and they will all go back when they want some pampering. Most importantly, the wife LOVED it, the service and attention was top notch. The treatments were calming, the food was plentiful, and the beverages were perfect. The Decorations were above and beyond and her friends have told her we need a floating fruit try for our hot tub at home now. I would 110% recommend this place, especially if you're looking for a private and relaxing event for a spouse or yourself. the cost is more than reasonable for what you're getting. They will plan everything for you, or will happily work with you if you want to plan it too. Thanks Jana, you made 40 my wife's best birthday yet.

I made some last minute add-ons to the initial order and Lotus home was incredibly accomodating. Jana and her team work tirelessly to ensure a most zen and pampering experience. Couples massage: Jen and Jade were beyond professional and relatable. They first sat us down and asked if we'd had massages before, if there were any spots they should avoid or focus on. We had an actual conversation prior to the treatment and their delivery was spot on. I so appreciate how Jen and Jade allowed us to enjoy our massage in silence. And every so often, when I had a comment, they chimed in and laughed with my honey and I! Then back to silent enjoyment. Through the entire massage, I felt they were very present, engaging, professional, and kind. Couples facial: Amanda and Tamara were so knowledgeable and skilled in their craft! Every question that my sweetheart and I had regarding skincare, Amanda and Tamara answered. Personally, it can be a jarring experience for me, having someone work so closely to my face. But Tamara's energy was inviting and safe and she was so gentle! After the facial, Amanda and Tamara checked in with how my sweetheart and I were feeling and gave us privacy to slowly get ready for our next experience. Pool/Hot tub: Is there truly a better way to end the day than to soak in a hot tub with palm trees and cabanas? I think not. Part of the deal was a beverage tray and floating food tray. First, Jana knew that my sweetheart and I don't drink alcohol, so Jana prepared non-alcoholic champagne! This was a special treat for us, as normally, we simply deny the alcohol and swallow the cost (that's already included in the deal). It was incredibly thoughtful of Jana to have something else prepared for us to enjoy. Along with the non-alcoholic champagne, she prepared clarifying mint tea, coffee, and sparkling mineral water. So refreshing as we floated in bliss. Then came the food tray. Oh. My. Droooooool. Tiramisu birthday cake, the biggest raspberry macaron, a quarter pineapple artfully displayed in the shell, crisp green grapes, literally the best turkey/bacon sandwich, and a delectable grilled chicken salad. Y'all, literally every single bite was top-tier. To top off the surprise, turns out Jana is the masterchef behind this amazing spread! Everything she does is done with intention and the client's experience in mind. I was simultaneously blown away and deep in serenity. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

I Finally Tried Crystal Spa in Koreatown -- And I'm Obsessed…read more Okay, I'll be honest -- I had zero idea what I was walking into. A Korean thermal spa in the heart of Koreatown, Los Angeles? Never done it. But wow, consider me completely converted. Crystal Spa takes you through the full circuit: a bubbling hot tub to loosen everything up, followed by a cold plunge that absolutely woke my soul up (yes, it's as shocking as it sounds, and yes, you need it). Then into the steam room, where I just... melted. Followed by a dry sauna session that had me sweating out every bad decision I've ever made. But the real MVP? The deep tissue massage. I don't have the words. My shoulders have been living somewhere near my ears for months, and this therapist found every single knot with zero mercy. I walked out feeling like a brand new human. Coming from Hawaii, I honestly don't know if we have anything quite like Crystal Spa back home -- and that genuinely surprises me. Koreatown, you've been holding out on me. This is officially going on my "must-revisit" list every single time I'm back in LA. If you haven't tried it yet, do yourself a favor. Non-negotiable. 10/10, no notes.

Right away, parking was actually pretty easy since they validate by entering your license plate at the front, which I appreciated. The staff were kind and the overall environment felt welcoming in that low-key, no-pressure way. That said, the space itself feels a bit run down. Some outlets didn't work, which made it hard to charge my phone, and it's on the smaller side--so if it gets busy, there's not a ton of room to fully stretch out or rest. It feels more intimate than spacious. They do have massage chairs (cash), and the crowd there was surprisingly nice and respectful, which honestly makes a difference in a shared space like this. The biggest downside for me was the food--it felt pretty overpriced for what it was. Also, I wish the cold pool setup was more accessible. It's a ladder instead of steps, which can be tough if your body isn't 100% that day. Overall, it has heart, just needs a bit more upkeep and balance in value
