I found myself trying to make sense and understand the cost for what we received because I recommended the place and we brought friends as well. People rave about the whipped ricotta with focaccia but put some ricotta in a blender and you could do the same. Also have had much better focaccia. Go to Domatos not too far from there and get a whole loaf or 2 for this cost. Also if you don't like al dente pasta I would not go here. I and we do but just thought it may be something worth mentioning. Overall skip this spot in my opinion. I think they are gouging you here and masking it behind freshness and handmade by showing them make the pasta in the window. What you get is an overpriced pasta and small portion that just does not hold up in value to what you're eating. Many other better options in Chicago for pasta!
