The walls are dotted with cute sketches of various menu items, random cartoon sketches and some anime posters. The floors are a checkered design on top of which the brown wooden tables and seats are spaced out evenly. What I enjoyed about this place is the casual dining, attentive service, clean tables and the snappiness of which food comes out after ordering. I have had the hand-made dumplings, beef brisket noodle soup, seaweed salad, and what I like to call the "bashed cucumber" - a cold cucumber salad of which the cucumber looks like it is prepared simply by bashing it with a wooden club into small chunks with the flesh loosely attached to the skin of the cucumber. Regardless, the cucumber is served with a kind of spicy and chilli sauce which adds a nice flavour when mixed with the raw cucumber. The hand-made dumplings were good but my favourite would be the beef brisket noodle soup. The beef was tender and tasty and the hand made noodles had a chewy texture which was nice. As for the seaweed salad, it consisted of thinly sliced seaweed, carrots and bean sprouts in a light sesame oil which is kind of refreshing. I would recommend this place if you like dumplings, Chinese appetisers and hand-made noodles.

After perusing the menu for a while we decided to share the truffle pizza, potatos, squash, broccolini and beet/goat cheese salad. Everything was delicious and really decent portions. My favourites were the potatos and the broccolini but everything was good. I was definitely satisfied - could barely finish and no room for dessert. It came out at around $30pp. We didn't order alcohol or dessert but got sparking water, they offer it unlimited for $5. Really good value for a such a nice dining experience. Like so many businesses competing for our business, a little over a month ago a brand new Vietnamese restaurant opened its doors. For starters I ordered the minced pork crispy spring rolls which were exactly that and tasted really good, tick! For the main I had the stir fried beef with vegetables (Hu Tieu Xao). It was more like a 'steamed' plate of beef and veggies but having said that, it actually tasted quite good. I look forward to trying some other items off the menu so I can say the food is more than just good.
