Went there for lunch and they did not disappoint! I had the beef bulgogi and my wife had the Korean Carbonara Noodle. Delicious and served at perfect temperature and was absolutely delicious! This Asian family-owned restaurant business opened not so long ago in the place where Ike's Kitchen used to be on Electric Road in Cave Spring, Virginia, and it's already beginning to capture the attention of many people around the area. I first heard about it through word of mouth from a Korean friend who knows a lot about Ramen. She talked so highly of it that I definitely wanted to go try it out soon. Today when I was going to dine out with a friend to a new little restaurant that had just opened, we weren't able to eat there because they were only accepting cash. So my friend did a search for other restaurants around the area and surprisingly he came up with Noodle Factory. And it didn't take long for both of us to decide to go eat there. When we arrived it was sprinkling rain, so I took the photograph of the front of the restaurant with its simple but cute sign from inside of the car my friend was driving, through the passenger window so as not to get my cellphone wet. A small colorful sidewalk sign was in front of the restaurant's building that read: "come on in! WE'RE OPEN." Once inside, we discovered a very clean and organized, contemporary looking restaurant, with light color hardwood floors, beautifully designed wooden tables and chairs. At the end of the restaurant there was a counter above an L shape brick wall painted white, with an open kitchenbehind it. And on the white wall next to the counter was a large size poster size copy of the menu. A young Asian lady warmly greeted and welcomed us behind the ordering counter and when we were ready, took our order. We both ordered the Spicy Shoyu Ramen with the non-spicy option as our main course. For appetizer we ordered a couple of Char Siu Pork Buns, and an order of Bamboo Shoots (Menma). To drink we both had a Strawberry Milk drink. What I loved most about the menu is that it contained a variety of items from the different Asian cuisines: Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cuisines. Although the Chef and Owner with his family were of Chinese origin. What an appropriate restaurant to review at the end of the month of May. Oftentimes we write about the taste of the food, but since this restaurant had an open kitchen and the Chef was there cooking in real time. The first thing we were able to enjoy from our table was the amazing smell of our food as it was being cooked. Especially the slices of the quality char siu pork belly. When our food was ready they called us to the counter to pick it up and we took it to our table. It was all amazingly delicious and filling. As we finished and were about to leave both the young lady and the Owner / Chef warmly check to see how we liked the food and we highly complimented it and their wonderful restaurant and customer service and we thank them for such an extraordinary dining experience. read more

I walked in and the smell was pure Heaven. The pork tonkatsu was melt in your mouth comfort food perfection. I am in no way Japanese but when I put that first spoonful of soup in my mouth even I felt like I was briefly blessed with a loving BaaChan cooking for me. The food is OK. But the pavement at the entrance is uneven. Please watch out if you're bringing elderly people or children -- two of us nearly tripped. When I brought it up, the owner mentioned that insurance would cover accidents, but ideally the problem should be fixed before anyone gets hurt. I also noticed staff handling food with bare hands, which raises some hygiene concerns. read more

We tried The Noodle Factory for dinner tonight (Saturday), and while it was busy and we waited about 20 minutes for our food, it was MORE than well worth the wait. I can't pick a favorite item, even if I wanted to. We tried the Korean bbq bun, the crispy chicken bun, red braised beef noodles, beef pho, and crispy mandu. The owner was so kind, hard working, and welcoming. He was honest with customers as they came in about the wait time and apologized profusely. This is a wonderful new addition to the area! They have an updated the restaurant from when it was opened before. Good remodel. Enjoyed eating at the bar near the kitchen. I had the Spicy Beef Ban Mian. It was delicious!
