They are planning to close around Columbus Day. For those of you that don't know, Jewish businesses open up in the summer and close when the kids go back to school. Communities with many of these businesses are aflutter with activity and then.....nada. Ghost town. South Fallsburg, Woodridge, and Woodbourne are prime examples. Fallsburg seems to be this intersection-a Stewarts on one side, a body shop on the other, Dollar General up ahead, and on the one side, a few Jewish businesses. Anyway, once inside, there is a quick sale rack in which I found what I was looking for at an incredible price! Russian babkas at $2 each.
