I'm incredibly grateful to Dr. Z! I first found him in February of 2023 when I was in the worst pain of my life. I'd been seeing an overzealous high-velocity chiropractor that was not a good fit for me, and resulted in debilitating pain in my side. Dr. Z was able to see me the day after I contacted him, at his lovely home office in San Rafael. He diagnosed me with a pinched nerve between my ribs. He kindly worked on me for two hours with his gentle yet effective touch, and I already felt 50% better after the session. The pain was completely gone within a few days after that first session. I had been in horrible pain for weeks before, so this felt like a miracle! I saw Dr. Z every week for a few weeks, then went to every other week, which is still my routine a year later. I don't believe in magic, or medicine much to tell you the truth. I believe in Dr. Zeravich though. I'm an active drummer and play softball 2-3 times a week. I came to Dr. John to get work done on a tendon in my shoulder. Some of my doctor friends said that my injury could require surgery. Dr. John had it back together after two weeks. Through his treatments I've also overcome some problems I thought I would never be able to. My right leg has always stuck out at an angle. Doctors have said there was really nothing I could do about it. Dr. John has my feet pointing straight now. My allergy problems are becoming manageable and my energy is much better. Dr. Z is an incredible human and a world class practitioner. He is a master at his art. I went in for back pain and neck restriction after seeing several other practitioners for several years with some progress but still lasting pain and restriction. Dr. John Zeravich, without a doubt deserves a 5 star yelp review. I had been training for a marathon, and had chronic runner's knee diagnosed by my primary care physician. Six weeks before the marathon, my knee continued to deteriorate, and so I visited Dr. Z on the recommendation of a friend. Within two weeks of visiting Dr. Z, my chronic runner's knee had completely disappeared. When I ran my marathon, I did not feel one iota of pain. I credit Dr. Z, because I did not engage in any other interventions (i.e no physical therapy, didn't change "how I run," etc). Therefore, I can say with almost complete certainly it was because of Dr. Z. I was so happy, I even called him to thank him as it was such a tremendous help to me completing my (first) marathon. I have been a patient of Dr. Zeravich for nearly a decade. On my first visit to Dr. Zeravich I was in very serious neck pain (for 3 days). The pain was so severe, simple auxiliary movement like lifting my arm was excruciating. Prior to the referral to Dr. Zeravich, I went to a Palmer Graduate conventional chiropractor and a network chiropractor. Neither of them made any progress with alleviating the pain (and suffering). I was involved in a motorcycle vs. auto accident several months ago and I broke my leg and my ankle. I'm a walking testimonial for Dr. Zeravich. About 5 months ago my back went completely out. I could not move. Dr. Z miraculously fixed me so I could go on our long planned camping trip the next day. He's so knowledgeable and versatile in his repertoire and not only fixed my back, but apparently my pelvis was out of alignment AND he fixed a long ago toe injury and fixed my entire body, on the FIRST visit and follow-up tune ups. In addition, I took my 6.5 year old kid after having potty training issues at night. I've been seeing Dr. John for a long time because of a childhood injury. I have slight to sever neck pain that can at times travel as far down as my hips. I visit John about 1 to 3 times every two months and have had extremely effective care that is the difference between staying home all day in pain and going out and living life in a comfortable way. I say this because I've seen several general Chiropractors over the years that many times the visit ends up in disappointment. John's knowledge of Chi gun, chiropractic care and his ability to communicate my situation while taking the time to listen is outstanding. Wow. Dr Z gave me plenty of time, did the most thorough intake you can imagine and then spent time working on me to help me relax but also to find out what my body needed. It was an amazing visit. And to think I just wanted to get a massage today. Instead, I came away with a greater appreciation for my overall well being and, feeling that I had an advocate, not just a masseuse. I have benefitted from Dr. Z for 10 years - and the non-force method - for about 15 years now. It started in High School when I had back pain relating to sports. I lived in Napa at the time and was referred to Dr. Mosher by my physical education teacher. I have tried many chiropractors during my 68 years, and Dr. Zeravich is the best. He never uses any force with any of his adjustments but you immediately feel better. He was able to get rid of chronic pain in my ankle and knee after adjusting them and now I can walk freely without pain or discomfort. But there have been other benefits as well.
