While I don't come here for gas, I was forced here for the HI-5 recycling redemption service, ran by Aloha Recycling. I usually patronize the location next to UHMC but their redemption center has been closed for several weeks already due to staffing, but you can still drop off recyclables there. Tucked in between the gas station and car wash is the small, dirty and bustling operation. Grab one of the netted carts, dump your separated goods in them and wheel it to the attendant. They'll print out a receipt which you take to the gas station's window cashier who'll disperse your money. OVERALL: Do your part and recycle!

It's shell, a billion dollar oil company and its franchises should be able to provide a clean public restroom. It's the last gas station before you head up to the rural side of west Maui so it should have a clean restroom. We did fill our tank with gas but had to go to the jack-in-the-box across the street to use the restroom. Let's work on that Shell.

After finishing up a job at Wailuku Federal Credit Union, I knew I had a super long drive to Lahaina so I decided to stop by this Nomnom convenience store for some water, & hopefully a snack. Walking into this convenience store, I would say it's similar to like a 7-Eleven store, but the most glaring difference between Nomnom, vs. 7-Eleven was the lack to "hot foods" that they had available here. I wasn't overly bummed over the lack of hot foods, because I mostly came for the bottled water. Another nice thing about this convenience store is if your low on gas, they selll 76 gas here, as it's tied in with the Nomnom store. Parking here is pretty easy, as they have a fairly large parking lot.

Prices a little more on the high side, warm food options are a limited, standard snack options (chips, sodas, juices, etc -- like other gas stations), but I like this location because it's conveniently located near other businesses.
