Very good food. Cons - Nothing against Staci's I'm somewhat of an environmentalist and would suggest not using Styrofoam containers, I say that on a lot of Yelps so don't get offended, just trying to spread the word. Hire her for your next meeting or catering. We really like the punctuality a lot. I'm feeding a lot of hungry people.

Used Ivywild from a local restaurant referral for a post memorial service reception. Though the…read moreoccasion was somber it was made more comforting by Ivywild's spot on catering. We arrived on a menu in minutes and though we over-planned (better than the alternative!) the execution was perfect. Try especially the Thai beef wraps (appy size). Lemon Bars were crazy good as desserts. We had ample and well-chosen fruits and berries. No pretense to the menu, just big bright flavors that showed up on time and made people of many age groups and backgrounds happy. Highly recommended.

These were the best quesabirria tacos I've ever had. The combination of the birria and cheese was…read moreincredible -- juicy, rich, and so flavorful that dipping them in the consommé wasn't even necessary. They were amazing on their own. They definitely don't skimp on the birria/meat. I added all the accompaniments -- lime, onion, and cilantro -- which made them even better. The cashier asked what kind of salsa we wanted, and I chose the verde salsa, which I really enjoyed. The tacos were also very filling. My boyfriend ordered the carne asada burrito with the spicy salsa. While it wasn't my personal favorite, he loved it and thought the portion size was huge, especially for the price. I would highly recommend this place and definitely plan on coming back the next time I'm in Ellensburg.

He said they knew him. I got my pancakes (special requested extra thin) and bacon. My pancakes were thin! The chef/owner inquired (from his kitchen and over the bar) if they were ok. Yep! The paintings/posters on the wall are, well, interesting. Perhaps a bit fetishistic but certainly interesting. (not fetishistic in an overtly kinky way though so don't worry about that.) You'll see what I mean. You know it is a hole in the wall so I am sure you can picture the decor. I felt very welcomed here and taken care of. Food was good and I will go back!

And yes, I know what good red beans and rice look and taste like (I've been to the Silver Moon across LSU). It seemed a little overpriced for the serving size. It came with hush puppies, which were slightly brunt. And their hours seem a little odd to me (only open a couple days a week).

We recently had Classic Events cater a party for us and were completely disappointed. To begin…read morewith, the menu options were not that appealing. When we got to our party they told us they forgot the appetizers. This was the worst news we could have received after arriving at our party. We had to apologize to our guests for the mishap. Secondly, the food was served out of what looked like a pizza warmer box, you know the kind pizza delivery comes in. It was actually kept in the box, the server would reach in with a tong and pull out a chicken and put it onto our guests' plate. Very dissatisfied with that. The meat was not that great and the berry salad was lacking BERRIES. The wild rice and the green beans were very good. They did not bring the promised punch or iced tea, and did not provide the coffee and tea which was to be served with dessert. We did get some compensation from the owner, but we were still extremely disappointed. I would not recommend them.
