It was still early when we got to the restaurant but there were several people ordering food to take away. Delphine, greeted us with a smile and took our order in English. It helped that their menu had pictures. The food tasted good from the Toyotomy Roll (flamed salmon, avocado, and cheese), California Maki, Shrimp Tempura (listed as Tempura Crevettes), Shrimp & Vegetable Egg Rolls (listed as Nems Japonais), chicken & beef skewers (listed as Brouchette Poulet & Brouchette Boeuf) and perfectly steamed white rice. Quaint interior, great service, and reasonable prices for delicious food that does not taste cheap.

The place is small, but had several tables and it seemed to be a bright and cheerful place. We sat at a table next to our friends and given menus. We ordered beers and Sake. The menu was full of Sushi and other Japanese food items, but as soon as I saw Robata on the menu, I was sold! I ordered Edamame, Gyoza, several pieces of Sushi and some rolls; as well as some Robata. You rarely see Robata on a menu, and when I do, I always order a few skewers of delicious grilled food. Our server brought our drinks and Edamame, we all cheered each other and ate the hot and tasty beans. A few minutes later, our main courses showed up, and it was plentiful. All the food was fresh and delicious, I was very pleased with this quality of Sushi, especially at the decent prices! Now, the Robata was excellent as well perfectly grilled and served hot, as well as large portions. Overall, a great experience, I tend to shy away from Sushi in Europe, but this place is excellent!

It is a carbon copy of the terrible restaurant Sushi Samba in West Hollywood which was also overpriced and awful. The service was lackluster and the people there seemed very confident about their abysmal product. The hotel it is located in is very weird and depressing with stupid candles everywhere. But like I said most importantly: The food sucks. The sushi is terrible and the appetizers taste like third rate Thai street food. Avoid!!!

Honestly, this might be the best karaage I've ever had! Kid you not! It's perfectly seasoned, super crispy, and no sauce needed. That's how good it was!!! You have to try it! Next, I tried the "petit" shisen don, which came with marinated minced pork, half of a soy marinaded soft boiled egg, and a large serving of rice. Like too much rice... The minced pork was very flavorful! Last but not least, I ordered the nabeyaki udon. It came with one shrimp tempura, boiled chicken, and egg. The broth was rich and comforting, but I was a disappointed by the shrimp tempura, it wasn't as crispy as I'd hoped. I don't know if it was even fried... Service was a bit slow and the dishes came out in a random order, but overall it was a decent meal.
