This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Fayetteville. They're mostly known for their Brunch experience! I'll start with the food- the Hangover Burger is a must with a sunny-side egg that pours over this 6 inch tall wonder when you cut into it. My personal favorite is the Beachcomber Breakfast burrito... drenched in spicy sauce and sour cream. This burrito has achieved both soft & crunchy with the most amazing blend of sauces. You can't beat it. I never leave my plate empty here. Next are the drinks- the BLOODY MARY is the best in town & maybe the best I've ever had! It's spicy and you can add jalapeño vodka for an even better kick. The pickled okra, olives, celery top this drink with some of the best sauces to top it off. I cannot rave more over a restaurants food & drink. The atmosphere is .... well I'll just leave it for you to find out yourself. You won't be let down! WOW. I can't believe we waited one hour for a scrambled egg. Nomad's have lovely people working there. That is the only thing about this restaurant that was a positive. We waited on line to order for 20 minutes. They ran out of menus so we couldn't see a menu until it was out turn to order. No one tells you the wait is going to be be one hour plus, for scrambled eggs.... The draw of Nomads seems to be the refillable mimosas by pitcher or glass so maybe no one cares they don't get their food in a normal wait time. I had to go inside to ask where our food was. I was told "Well this is brunch so its at least an hour." If that info had been given at the start we would never have ordered food. It's just rude and disrespectful of the customers time to not tell them. The food, was not worth the wait. Dry scrambled eggs, unripe avocado etc.. Would definitely not come here again. read more

Nomads is an amazing unsuspecting little gem. If you are visiting Fayetteville and you want to know where the locals go, they definitely go to Nomad's. The ambience at Nomad's is very eclectic and creative. There have lots of cool seating and tons of interesting art and decor to check out. The patio is much larger than the indoor option, but they do have some creative covered areas to dine, should the weather not work in your favor. For example, they have a Texas athletic bus. We didn't sit in it, but it appears to be climate controlled. Super cool, fun space. The food is fantastic and the drinks are incredible. Nomads makes everything with fresh ingredients and their menu is unique. They have terrific drink specials on the weekend, including a multiple fun flavors of Mimosa's. You buy your first Mimosa for $7, but each one after is only $1. Incredible! I haven't had a bad meal or drink at Nomad's. The reason I am giving Nomad's a 4 star review, instead of a 5 star review is solely because of the music they play. I went to Nomad's twice in one week and between the two trips, I heard multiple songs with an excessive amount of racial slurs in the lyrics. One of my visits, I probably a racial slur 25+ times between 2 different songs. I realize this is in a college town, but there were several families there when we were dining. read more

Nomads is a bar and grill that has over half its seating outside and maybe a third inside. With that says, there's plenty of seating and at least for brunch it's kid friendly. It also appears to be dog friendly all the time. There have a large vegan and vegetarian menu also. On Sundays they have buy one mimosa for $7 and the next one is $1. My mimosa glass was glass with fruity pebbles on the rim with a slice of lime. I started with the piña colada mimosa and it was tasty. It also had a kick. I knew I was drinking booze. My next was the Mikey Cyrus. Ginger Beer, grenadine and champagne. Also excellent. Honestly, they have 7 types of mimosas available for drinking. I tried the Smurf which was fun because it had sparkles but was too sweet. NOTE: this is a place I WILL RETURN TO. And if you know me I don't say that often. They call it Nomads because they gave moveable items such as trailers, train cars, etc as part of the ambience and decoration. I ordered a over medium egg (which was cooked over hard), sausage and avocado. (FYI I wish they had Beyond Burger sausage - apparently they have something similar they just ran out because it was graduation for the a University of Arkansas). Okay, the sausage is amazing with just enough spice. With avocado it's perfection. All of the employees were great. The bartenders especially. But everyone was friendly. And five flavors! My personal favorite is the watermelon followed by the Hannah Montana grapefruit. We also indulged in the Mom Jeans. and the Nice to meet you with a side of French toast. The place has a cool vibe, and the ladies taking orders at the food counter were very kind and patient. Their business model seems to be scamming people into their $7 mimosa pitchers while waiting an unacceptable amount of time for food. We waited nearly two hours for our food which was certainly nothing to remember. We ordered the apple bottom salad, breakfast sandwich on a croissant, and a breakfast plate with egg, toast, and avocado. For the salad, the lettuce was healthy, and they didn't skimp on the pecans. When it was delivered however, it was without the bread and avocado I added. This is especially frustrating when we waited so long for our food - and then had to return to the counter to ask again. The breakfast sandwich on a croissant was tasty, as was the breakfast plate with egg, toast, and avocado. For the prices however, the quality and quantities were questionable. Mimosas were definitely mostly orange juice with a splash of poor quality Prosecco. We sat in the 'back yard' area behind the wooden fence. Our table seemed clean but there was trash under it...clearly from a previous day. Save your money - and most importantly your TIME - and go somewhere else. read more

Only had to wait 20 minutes to order our food on Mother's Day but it took about an hour and a half to actually get some french toast and basic egg sandwiches and it isn't even that busy. Pretty much everyone was also waiting for their food the whole time but only about 75% of the place was full. Came in for lunch on a weekday and really enjoyed our meal/drinks! They have plenty of beers on tap to choose from including lots of local selections! Their funky mimosas were fun to try and came with a rim lined with Fruity Pebbles. The space is eclectic and looks like it was put together from several trips to a thrift shop. It really goes with the vibe of the whole place! The food was AMAZING! We shared the pesto/chicken/goat cheese wrap and I'm still thinking about how delicious it was! My only complaint is that one of the women working behind the bar didn't have the best hygiene. She was observed multiple times with her hands in her mouth before serving guest drinks/food. I wish I could give Nomad's 6 stars! This is definitely one of the most coolest, eclectic and delicious places to go for brunch. They have the BEST bloody Mary's and super fun mimosa flavors. I visited Nomads for the first time today and really enjoyed it. The wait was slightly longer than I would expect from other places, but I factored that into the experience, as they were incredibly busy due to Sorority and sporting events! I was worried after reading a negative review from yesterday, but after my visit I have to say it was not indicative of the Nomads experience at all. The ladies working the bar were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Piper and Amelia ( I hope I got these names right :P), and the mimosas and beer were incredible. The Imperial Hangover was amazing. For those saying the food is too expensive and the wait is too long, you should go to McDonald's. I'm sure it will cater to your poor taste better than Nomads can. This place is so FAYETTEVILLE! I mean that in the best possible way. It's fun and funky and laid back and brunch is awesome. There are also lots of options for your dietary needs - even vegans can find something awesome to munch on here. There's a mimosa bar on Sundays! I usually just get champagne if I'm going to sip on beverages whilst brunching, but they've got mixers like dragonfruit juice to spice up your mimosa. The reason I'm giving only 4 stars instead of five is that parking is limited and I've had to wait too long for my order a time or too. If you're here during a dead time, you should be fine, but if it's busy, be prepared for a really long wait for food. The good news is you'll never be wanting for a seat. Nomads was an interesting place. I got a burger and it was very tasty. But it was $13 for one normal sized burger. I was met with a large lyrics advisory sticker on the door and another poster of I think a bunny flipping me off as soon as I got into the building. Just not a welcoming or family type of environment. This place was extremely overpriced for what your actually getting. I went to this restaurant expecting a nice sit down place for lunch, however what we got was all but that. It started out with having to pay at the front counter and tipping without even getting our food. They charged us for every water and soda we drank and apparently there is auto gratuity added in to the bill, yet I saw no sign that said such. Our food came out on paper plates and the taste of our sandwiches reminded me of something made in a dorm room. Yo, I got the hangover burger when I went in with my sister. First off the fattest nut I've ever had in mouth hands down. I'm telling y'all as soon as I pressed down on the top bun it's like the yolk was just melting off the burger . Upon walking in this place looks like a total dive but you could not be further from the truth. The food is amazing. I had the Good Buddy, the pesto was a thin spread then layered with creamy goat cheese and topped with two eggs on a croissant that was hardy enough to hold it all together but still melt in your mouth. Friends had the guacamole and I cannot wait to come back, it rivals any upscale Mexican restaurant. The desserts look incredible as well. Nomads is known for their funky fun mimosa bar but if that isn't your thing there is beer and you can have a glass of plain champagne. They also have bloody mary's with some really fun house infused vodka like pepper, pickle and jalapeño. This is such a fun upbeat environment and service is top notch. Bonus for being a bar like restaurant is that the bathrooms are very clean. Can't wait to come back when it is warmer. Tip...food takes a bit so either eat prior and just drink, get chips and guac or relax, sip and enjoy while you wait for some amazing food. read more

I love Nomad's Trailside - great food, friendly staff, and decided to give the Southside location a try for breakfast to kick off a seemingly wonderful morning. The vibe inside the restaurant is what I've come to expect at Nomad's - peak Fayetteville funky, amazing. I ordered the Beachcomber and waited for my burrito. It arrived and I was baffled with how much sour cream sat before me. I was assured there was, indeed, a breakfast burrito nestled underneath the dairy blanket and gave it a shot. To be fair, the menu does explicitly use the words "smothered" so fair warning was given, however, the whole order lacked a depth of flavor and cohesiveness, perhaps because the other ingredients were valiantly trying to overthrow the dairy coup détat taking place on my plate.
