This was our first time boarding so we really researched the place and found it to be the only 5 star business for boarding in the area. They are suppose to be advanced critical care nurses and one a vet tech and assured us our babies would be in good hands! They were everything but that as we get a text 5 hours later stating our youngest bulldog of the two is DEAD! Yes 5 hours after dropping them off a perfectly healthy dog unresponsive and dead. Not one phone call you heard me right a text. No remorse no apology and no explanation as to what happen!!! Our baby is currently at LSU Animal Hospital getting an autopsy so we can find out what really happen. If you love your animals like we do stay as far away from this place as possible! JC

Our other dog the camp bowow employees ended up taking her to the vet leaving her there she had a huge open wound turns out it had been a injury she got there and it abcessed and then burst open. Didn't see her on camera for days which is why I called and they said oh she's tired and then a couple days later they contacted us about a huge wound so we cut our vacation short and rushed home. I wrote a review and they threatened me with a lawyer if I did not take it down (said exactly what I said here) and they insisted the vet said it was most likely cancer WHICH the vet never said that. I would NEVER recommend this place and whenever I see people with the camp bowow bs on their cars if I get a chance I tell them what happened to my 2 sweet babies. Their magnets make me so angry when I see them. Please if you love your dogs triple check everything before leaving them anywhere

It was such a relief knowing our dogs were happy, comfortable, and cared for in their own home, and that our house was being looked after, too. We will definitely be booking with them again!

Following my experience with Kitty Krewe, I used Pet Libro feeder with camera to care for my cats…read more when I went to visit my brother who stayed on a ventilator and a feeding tube the rest of his life. He passed away the first of the year. I would treat cat sitters who hold themselves out as professional as suspect. This status can get in the way of individualized customer service. The pretense of professionalism imposed unnecessary complications. Ms. Fink insisted that it was impossible to do her job in less than half an hour. I limited her to five to ten minutes with my feral cat. Whose needs was she trying to satisfy by insisting on more time? Ms. Fink or someone on her behalf posted a review of my business the day after I left my review of her. The timing makes it highly improbable that it was someone unrelated to the situation. I asked Ms. Fink to remove it. She ignored me. My clients asked about the review. Yes, I did seek to hold Fink accountable but defamation is hard to prove. Ms. Fink expressed her regret that my cats had to spend four days alone, but no apology for callously not helping when I was in crisis. She had no obligation to treat my emergency with urgency. But, wouldn't it have been nice if she did? It is illegal to post factual untruths. It is immoral to do so when you know a fellow human being is already involved in a dire life circumstance.

Heather has groomed my now 11 year old toy poodle for years. We have trusted her and always been…read morehappy with how my poodle turned out. She never seemed extra stressed when we picked her up. It seemed to be a great situation (the only thing was I never saw Heather when i dropped off and picked up my dog, that was always odd, but i figured she was busy). Anyway, we got a new toy poodle puppy recently. She was 12 weeks old and we figured it was a good time to get her acclimated to the grooming experience. We specifically said our toy poodle (3 lbs at the time) was only 12 weeks old, this was her very first groom. We asked for her to be bathed, trimmed around her face, feet, sanitary area *as tolerated.* We were told our puppy was aggressive, had to be held down by 3 people (remember, 3 lb puppy). She hadn't been completely potty trained at the time, still tried to mouth at hands, was teething, wasn't the best behaved, so I believed it and was embarrassed for my puppy's behavior, over a bath! I had bathed our puppy probably 6 times already since we got her, I had scissor trimmed around her face, brushed her often and even trimmed her nails before. We were completely shocked upon picking up our little puppy she had a completely full groom. Shaved feet, shaved face, very short hair all over, shaved butt - didn't even look like our puppy at all. It was definitely not a puppy trim *as tolerated.* Now we understand why our puppy got so scared and stressed that she lashed out, fight or flight response. She had never been groomed before, she must have been terrified. Ever since then, our puppy is a different dog. She now is very anxious about everything. She had such a bubbly, joyful, easy-going personality. Now she is scared, fearful about so much. We have her in private training now, and the trainer has said she is scared of anything and we have to work in baby steps to even give her a bath again. I am devastated that my now 14 week old, 3.5 lb puppy has been traumatized. We trusted Heather for years with my older toy poodle. We thought she was the best groomer. It is never appropriate to hold down a 12 week old puppy to shave her completely. I wish she would have stopped, so that our puppy would have happy associations with grooming. 2 stars because we really did trust Heather for years, with my most prized possession, a family member. 2 stars because now that trust is broken, our 12 week old puppy was restrained, looks like a different dog, and has a completely new anxious/stressed personality when handled by strangers.

Upon arrival at 9am the lights were off, I rang the door bell, no answer. I had to call there number the person who answered the phone seemed surprised I was there. When I entered the "grooming" room if you even want to call it that, looked more like a dungeon, that an actual grooming business. Our pup was put in a rusty looking cage sitting on the floor. At that point I should have just taken my dog and left. I wasn't told a time to pick up my pooch so I tried calling back several times after dropping my dog off and their number went straight to voicemail. So after a few hours I went back to see what the deal was. The grooming assistant was sitting in a car in the yard just hanging out, our dog was still in the cage where I left her, not bathed or groomed. There wasn't any other dog in the grooming area to be groomed. We never once spoke to Mrs Linda, just the assistant and a gentleman that was there, who stated "it takes longer than 3 hours to groom a dog" which I think is unacceptable since I didn't see any other dogs there being groomed and the state of the business was just a shame. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE EVER! I feel bad enough that I left my dog there instead of listen to my gut and just taking her with me when I saw the state of the place.
