I had a beer, my SO had a glass of wine. We shared sushi: an Amazing roll, an Angle roll and a Majic roll. We loved all three. Delicious sushi, fast service, a good price. What's not to like! As Arnold said, 'I'll be back'!

We love sushi - travel all the way to columbus just to have some from the unofficial "japantown" at kenny center Upon arrival at 2 pm, not super busy but the store appeared bright and well decorated. We were directed to pick our preferred seating. Menus were brough quickly, drink orders we taken and brought out quickly. Sprites, came with a cup of ice. This was were it went downhill. My husband is allergic to shellfish, and we eat out understanding there is a chance of cross contamination based on what we order. He had a mild reaction - we determined his reaction was from the glass with ice, which indicates it was not washed well. Not a good sign... We ordered house lo mein, king salmon nigiri, tuna nigiri, tuna roll, and one chicken and vegetable hibachi. Sushi? The rice was long grain and unseasoned... it fell apart as my husband picked it up. The fish was.. ok.. not wowed. Even the king salmon was...just salmon and not anything amazing. My tuna roll never made it. My husband said this was the first time he had bitter ginger... he spat that back out - ginger is suppose to be a palate cleanser... Lo mein? Was ok. It was not greasy, which is what I usually encounter. Noodles were soft, but ok. Flavor.. lacking.. and there was a notcieable amount of sauce at the bottom.. so it was too runny. The hiabachi? The fried rice, saddest fries rice ever. It was hard middle and .. flavor was offputting.. this is coming from a girl that was raised to eat rice everyday in many forms. I love durian, and this rice manage to offput me.... the flavor was just weird. The hibachi chicken and veggies were the best part..sauce flavor was great and the veggies were cooked very well and chicken was juicy. So overall... would not recommend due to cleanliness (based on contact contamination from a cup) and... food was just meh

This place is so underrated definitely coming back and then the customer service was 100 out of 10. Everything was fresh! It feels intimate and cozy inside.

The rice in it is hardly seasoned and just didnt taste "wow". Their yakisoba is a weird medley of rice noodles in some brown sauce they call yakisoba (like they didnt even use the actual noodles!) I got the katsu kimchi jiggae... they put a perfectly fried katsu INTO the bottom of the jjigae..... like it was wet and sad. And for some reason my son had a full bowl of rice and mine was only half full?? The kimchi flavor was off... almost tomatoey? Needless to say.. my husband barely ate his yakisoba. I took 95% of my stew home. To top it off as we were checking out, they came and said they were having some troubles with conmecting tp their card people... if we could ..pay with...cash? And i had to send my husband out to an atm... and then it came back online. In all this they couldnt even give a small discount for this situation. I am sad to say I am likely not to return... this round of ownership change has brought the place down.

Crab rangoon was good. The sauce wasn't just the normal sweet chili sauce. Definitely sweet but with more spices. The ginger dressing on the salad was very good. Clear soup was flavorless. Still not sure why it is so common at restaurants. Tuna sushi was good. It had a wasabi type topping that was very good. Salmon was ok. Texture wasn't the typical tender type. Surf and turf roll was mediocre. The beef on top needed flavoring. Maybe just a little salt when cooking it. The sauces in top (I believe it was labeled as ranch and balsamic) didn't add enough flavor to make sense. The magic roll was also ok. Nothing special. The spicy tuna inside was not spicy at all. The inside is nice and everything is clean. Overall, it is fine. Nothing special.

We moved away from OH about 20 years ago now, but were recently in town for the holidays to visit family. We decided to give Wasabi a try. Turned out to be a great choice. To me, there is a lot of overlap between Chinese and Japanese food, and I like them both. My wife had the miso soup, the crunchy roll, and we split a bacon avocado roll. Then I had the chicken fried rice. Both rolls were very good, but the chicken fried rice was outstanding. Maybe the Best fried rice I have ever had. We will definitely be back, and recommended it to everyone we saw that week.
