Would highly recommend other options as there will be a second charge for any work done incorrectly. Specifics: - Front lock stopped working correctly after it was re-keyed. - Deadbolt placed, somehow a key part went missing from a new set. - The deadbolt was unevenly placed. - Woodwork done to the doorframe was splintered and uneven. - Left all the trash and mess on the floor - The major point, the owner was incredibly unprofessional on the phone. He became very upset and yelled on the phone at the idea of having to fix the stated concerns without charging as a new visit.

I have a rental property in New Orleans which occasionally needs repairs. I've had great difficulty…read morefinding reliable, honest contractors to do small jobs. I reached out to Paul with a 12-item list which needed to be complete at the last minute before I left town. He was immediately responsive and came the next day. He communicated well, was on time, and took care of everything. I hate going to the hardware store to get parts and he even took care of that for me. In addition to my list which included electrical, plumbing, painting, and small repairs; Paul remedied things that he noticed which I didn't even ask about. Paul was efficient and worked quickly. He quoted me for the work on my list rather than an hourly rate. He knocked out everything and saved me days of time were I to do it myself. Even though he's quick - all the work he did was top notch and he obviously knows his trades. Paul charges a very reasonable fee for the high quality service he provides. I always call Paul when I have any maintenance issue with my property and am confident it will be taken care of in the most time and cost effective manner. I highly recommend Paul for all of your property maintenance needs.

I tried all the troubleshooting, I only had the cabinet a few days. It was defective and I received a refund. The problem was my stuff was still locked away. I contacted North Gate Lock and Key through this app for a quote and received a prompt response. It was late night and on a weekend so I was surprised. The other locksmithing companies I googled couldn't be reached. This company is 24 hours! I called and spoke to Dell. He was polite, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and very adaptable to my tight schedule. He came on time and the job took less then 5 minutes. There was no mess after the job was done. I received a discount as a new customer and I didn't even ask for one. This was fantastic customer service. On top of the that he beat the other quote I revived for the same job offering a price less than 45% of what they quoted. It was just an overall steal for me and I couldn't be happier. If you're looking for great customer service, a quick resolution, a company that's has great availability and who is adaptable to your schedule this is the locksmith for you!

I hired Central City Millworks to build 4 windows and replace 2 doors at my home. I started working…read morewith an employee who unfortunately ended up leaving in the middle of my project. I was left to deal with the owner Clint and things went downhill quickly from there. With the previous employee, we agreed on a price, I verified EVERYTHING was included and signed the estimate. Shortly after the employee left & Clint began trying to add extra costs to my project. He tried to add an extra $1500 to have the windows approved by the VCC for permitting. When I asked him about removing this fee because I had already agreed upon a total amount he later removed it after a lot of back & forth. When he removed this fee and sent the quote back to me, he added an extra $370 to the price of the doors without mentioning anything about this. After I noticed the increase in the door with ZERO explanation I knew I couldn't move forward with Clint bc he cannot be trusted. After putting down a $5400 deposit and having issues after the employee left, I had to threaten to sue Clint to get some of my deposit back. Clint ended up keeping $2200 for the drawings that they had done when I am only able to use 3 of the 5 drawings. Follow up & feedback from Clint & the employees in the office is terrible. If I were you, I would not start any project with Central City Millworks because when it goes downhill you have to fight to get a portion of your deposit back and to be left with nothing.

The reason I knocked them a star was for some consistent miscommunication between me and their team. At times, they were really responsive and on top of it. For a small period in the middle of the planning phase, they were hard to pin down. Ultimately, they build 3 sets of shutters and had them dialed in nicely. Hardware install was decent. Not perfect, but totally functional. The team they sent for the install did a really good job of troubleshooting in the field. I appreciated their effort. I know it took longer than expected for install. Good product and good install. I would use these guys again.
