We have followed her since 2007 to every location she has been. My Pomeranians don't get groomed by anyone except Joanna. Early this year my 12 yr old Sophie passed away and Joanna groomed her and now still grooms my 14 yr old spencer and my son's dogs Lola & Sebastian. Joanna is very professional but considerate with our dogs. We hear horror stories with groomers but we know we can always trust Joanna. If we get future dogs we will always take them to her to get groomed. Her and only her.

First off, they didn't have my appointment shceduled when I arrived with the two of them at 7:30am. But they went ahead and took them. I had made the appointment the week before, after calling around looking for a place that had experience grooming airedales. They were the first to tell me they were. In fact, shared with me that they had a couple of airedale clients they groom. Just in case, before turning my airedales over to the groomer, I told her specifically. that I liked a long beard and mustache, and not to cut them. I even went as far as to give her photos of how I wanted the "head", showing different angles. I even told them what size blade to use. All I can say is, the ears are right on both dogs. I have no idea how many months...maybe a year, for my female to grow her beard back. Or how long her hair will grow back on her face so she doesn't look like a poodle or whatever that's supposed to be. The Groucho Marx eyebrows and the mustaches....I'll have to do or find another groomer just to fix them. And poor Roadie, he has been limping on his right front leg since we got him home. I was hoping it'd be better today, but it's not. Will have to take him into his vet. if there's no improvement. Don't know what happened, but he didn't have a limp when he went there yesterday morning. And they sure didn't say anything on how he may have hurt himself or gotten hurt. One thing I will not be doing, is taking them to the Big Dog Show at Reliant Stadium , in Houston, for "Meet the Breed". In the past, I've always taken our airedales for that. It's like a "show and tell" , where people can see and touch different AKC breeds and get information about them. They do not represent what an airedale should look like. Not even as a "pet". I didn't expect a show cut, but I did expect an airedale cut from someone who claimed they were experienced and knowledgeable to do that. I have serious doubts...serious doubts that was truthful. The price....shocking...$335.60 ($25.60 was sales tax) I was told $95 each for the grooming because of their weight. Then the upcoding for the nails ($15), conditioner ($5), dematting ($10) (was told they found a mat under Roxie's front leg, I told them to just cut or shave it off..it wouldn't show anyway), they said nothing about finding any mats on Roadie, but I was charged for them.). Then an extra $30 charge for "scissor service". I wasn't told this would be an extra charge above the "grooming service". And what was the "add on pattern set service" ($10) for Roadie? That was a whole other charge...and not one for Roxie. But I guess she was so messed up, they couldn't claim that. Roxie did have a cute bandana that was so tight on her neck, we had to cut it off. Roadie didn't have one, Maybe all they are used to doing are small dogs? You would have thought they would have put some cologne on them at least, but no. Just as well, they probably charged for that. I was shocked at the price. And of course, we had to pay before they brought the dog's out. And they don't give you a receipt of the charges, either. When I got home, I had a mystery message to click some weird link on my phone from an unknown number. Nothing that said it was from Red Bluff Pet Resort. Just a link to "view Roxie and Roadie's report card" and to "click this link to get pre approved for credit". After getting on my computer, I was finally able to figure out it came from them, and the desk person had signed me up for it. First off, there was no report card. There was a place for putting my credit card information in for them to make things easier for next time (as if). And I finally found my receipt and the breakdown of charges. It was a very expensive lesson. Needless to say, I'll be looking for a groomer that really does know how to groom an airedale in the Deer Park, Texas area. Photo of Roxie and Roadie. Then a photo of how they should look. One doesn't look like the other. An experienced groomer would know exactly how to do this. They were both in a "pattern". They just needed to be cut down shorter for the summer

I adopted a friendly yet extremely energetic 105 lb Lab/Mastiff mix from a rescue a few months ago…read more While he loves his walks, he has this massive drive to play with basically everyone. This was becoming a huge challenge (and pain) in our daily walks. Getting his attention was a non starter, it was at that point I decided to seek out some individualized training (the thought of having him in a group class was laughable). I came across Karma Dog Training and put in my information for a consultation. Jeffrey got back to me later that day and we talked about my goals and expectations. Mainly, trying to establish control over this behemoth and finding games to keep his mind occupied while im out of the house. He said he would bring it up at the staff meeting the next morning to determine who would be the best fit. I got a callback from Pilla the next day. She specializes in behavior modification and is the proud owner of a great dane as well as a shelter dog. We started off slow, establishing that the overarching goal is being able to get his attention is where the training flows from. She then wanted to observe him in the house with my other dog as well as during feeding time. She made some observations (like my 1st dog guarding me like a resource against the newcomer) while at the same time making suggestions that would make my life with him easier. She then starting showing me easy to utilize signals to get his attention, we spent the day learning variations of this. After the end of the first lesson, I was able to get his attention on a daily basis. We have a lot of work to do still, but we made an impressive amount of progress, enough to get me to buy a 6 lesson pack. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus, the rest of our lessons had to be postponed after lesson 2. But Pilla has kept in contact with me over the weeks to make sure I'm repeating the fundamentals with my dog. Since the lessons build off of the success of the previous ones. Cant wait to see how my dog develops when the lessons resume!

The staff loves animals, and they take the time to explain what's going on with your pet and the best treatment options as well. It is a family owned business and they also make you feel like family. Recently, I came home from work to see some accidents around my house. My little girl hadn't been feeling well, but it was getting worse. So I called them hoping they could give me some advice since it was after 5 PM on a Friday. They told me that based on what I explained, they would likely recommend her going to the overnight emergency hospital because it sounded like she would need surgery posthaste. She didn't want me to bring her there because she didn't want me to be charged for the visit if they were going to send her to the emergency hospital anyways. I really appreciated that. The next day, we took her in and they helped us find a vet that would do an emergency Saturday surgery without an appointment. Ms. Cynthia even called somewhere for us to hopefully get in. We went where she said and she even called me a little while later to see if we were able to get something worked out and to check on my Peyton. Even though they were not able to help me this one time, they still helped me through my tears, and helped find someone who could do a surgery on such short notice. AND they called to follow up with how she was doing. That is top notch in my book, and I love that they care about animals and what they're doing.

When I called two weeks later because my dog's eye still wasn't better, I was told to take my dog to an eye specialist. I understand that some conditions require specialist care, but after paying for the initial visit and trying the prescribed treatment, it was frustrating to still have no resolution. I would have appreciated clearer communication about what to expect from the medication and what the next steps would be if it didn't help. Based on this experience, I'm unhappy with the service and follow-up I received.

She should never allowed to practice veterinary medicine to purposely hurt the animals. When I first saw her Holy Spirit was letting me know she not good and as a Prophetess of the most high God. I felted as I first saw her. I told myself my baby girl Destiny is only here for the annual vaccines and I had never had issues with any other doctor for getting shots. She hurt my baby Destiny by injecting her on the leg/thigh which it deeply hurt my baby she jumped/ startled and I told Dr. Ruchitha don't give her the shot there do it on the neck. Well, she gave her the second shot not on the neck as directed and as all my baby's doctor gave shots by the neck. She gave her shot on the shoulder on of the left side it hurted my baby again once again my poor little baby girl jumped. I told the Dr. No why your hurt her not there on the neck. The female assistant of her turn my baby to the other side the third shot she did not jump or startled. As a Parent I feel hurt for my child. I am very angry I told the front desk to note never ever allow Dr. RUCHITHA ever see my baby. The receptionist said she has noted. Also! As a DVM She told me that Destiny has heart Murmur and asked did she cough in the morning or night I answered no. She said if she started to cough then she will need to be on medication. And that was it!!!! She did not tell me how bad is Destiny's heart murmur. I have to asked her from 1 to 10 what is it? She said we do it from 1-6 and it's 3-4 She is very irresponsible DVM and with no experience. If Ruchitha Varikuti's purpose is to hurt the animals instead to love and treat them with kindness then she is in the wrong profession!!!! Once again, I repeat I feel guilty especially as Holy Spirit had showed me the second I saw her. Till this day I am still hurting for my baby girl Destiny and I apologize to my baby. I repented for not obey/ listening to the Holy Spirit to request another doctor. Ended up with the result to let my child suffer. To Ruchitha it may be just another animal but to me Destiny is my child. To all the dog/cat Parents if you truly love your baby (babies)/ animals please avoid and do anything in your power do not let RUCHITHA VARIKUTI be your child's/ animal's doctor. I want to say not only baby Destiny suffered, I suffered greatly emotionally. I called and asked for the doctor in charge but he is not available and will be out for a month. I will contact or expect Dr. PENNITON (may not be the correct spelling)to contact me before I take a further action. Blessings, Linda Wang
