Was in there yesterday to get ice cream, waited in line and observed the female employee not…read morewearing a mask (it was under her chin.) she was talking to a friend that was loitering next to the front door, who was not wearing a mask at all. I mentioned to the young man cashing me out that she should be wearing a mask, and told the young man he needed to be wearing one as well. He replied, and I quote, "I'm exercising my right NOT to wear a mask, bitch!" In my anger I'm sure I swore at him and left quickly. I called later to ask to speak to a manager, and have not received a call back as of yet. The young man who helped me, I believe his name was Assam, did tell the girl to put her mask on and she did, but the ass by the door remained. I watched for another 5 minutes and saw him standing there as customers came in and out. By the way, I called the health department.

Definitely one of my favourite convenience stores in the area and now that it's right next door to one of my favorite restaurants in the area - Xi'an (try the lamb cumin) - I come here even more often. They're pretty friendly and they've got a pretty eclectic crowd coming in and out. Always busy. A little bit run-down but maybe that helps keep their prices down because they're definitely cheaper than 7-Eleven. It loses a star for the high prices but is a solid 4, and is still there, churning out late-night goodies to college kids and locals, not far from the wonderful Seoul Garden and Black Forest Saddler, a horse-seat shop. If you're not from the neighborhood, here's a tip: no one calls it Cameron's. As the giant neon signs on the side proclaim, we call it the "WE NEVER CLOSE." The store is basically a decent indie version of a7-11. It's a quick place to grab beer (they have a surprisingly decent selection) or a bag of chips. Everything is outrageously priced--but the convenience factor is HIGH. And, honestly, not giving your $ to 7-11 is pretty appealing--as is shopping in a store with handwritten signs and a colorful staff.
